WAKE UP, PLEASE. Rhun is awesome! Charioteers and Kataphrakts (horsemen) and every unit being an elite units (warrior, archer, pikeman, spearman), and if I were you I'd use Mumakil instead of Sorcerers -the builders can toggle faction buildings!!!!! - and you should use all tavern units, not just the Rhun Brigands. MotE is meant to be filled with either Easterlings or Haradrim, enourmous Mumakils with spear-throwers on top, and two armies worth of Heroes. And trust me, Rhun will be much more satisfying with my advise. It's a tough choice since I like almost all factions but I guess, atm, it would be:
1: Gondor; a knight rush can be devastating, especially when it's followed by lots of rangers and tower guards in the mid/late game and their heroes are good, too.
2: Mordor; orc spam ftw, not to mention fellbeasts and cheap catas.
3: Arnor; I just like their style
4: Rohan; more cav rushes
5: Elves; I like their style too, and I can sort of cav rush with them
6: Dwarves; I still use BFME2-style guardian/mine rushes
7: Isengard; because of their strong units and the fact that I'm familiar with them.
8: Angmar; like their style and all the crap that u can do with them
9: Goblins; at least I'm a little familiar with them, but their units are weak and I don't like their style
10: Men of the East; Rhun is boring tbh

1. Isengard: Do I even have to say anything?
2. Goblins: I like the feeling that your overwhelming your enemy and they cannot do anything about it except........die heh
3. Dwarves: Defensive and Offensive, they are just powerful.
4. Mordor: The combination of orcs, trolls and heroes are amazing.
5 Men: I hate how EA had to combine them.
6. Angmar: Love the new gameplay but I don't use them as much as I do other factions
7 Elves: I 've use this faction so much I just got tired og the same old spamming. Havent use them in a long while.

1.) Probably Angmar. I like the background behind Angmar, and The Witch-King of Angmar in the Angmar faction is just awesome. Plus, they're really unstoppable if you know how to use the Sorcerers to defend your main troops and then use the troops to raid at just the right moment. They could use some stronger Thrall units, they're surprisingly weak, but after you get past the Early-early game stage to early-middle and you start pumping out Numenorian Swordsmen and, in middle-middle game stage the Numenorian Rangers, they're a serious powerhouse. Ambush parties in every stand of trees, Karsh and Morgomir to harass attacking enemies and troll units to run 'em down? Its over.
2.) Arnor. If I'm not playing as Angmar (when I'm in an evil mood :D) I'm playing as Arnor. The armor, the swords, the heroes are wicked. Cheap but fairly strong early-early and early-middle swordsmen and archers make this unit a definite powerhouse for me. They can take a good bit of damage and combining hordes just kicks ass. I never use Hobbits though, no reason. I personally don't believe hobbits should be in the game at all. The hobbits could be replaced with another group, maybe a stables for some early-early and early-middle to middle-late cavalry or something. Or remove the hobbits all together: they seem really pointless...and like its really going to be hard for Dark Numenorians armed to the teeth with steel armor and weapons to plow through a line of hobbits with pitchforks and cotton armor.
3.) Gondor. I've always liked Gondor. Faramir and Boromir make a kick-ass hero team when grouped with a large platoon of infantry.
4.) Probably Mordor. The Nazgul are cool, even if they aren't even a little canon with the original story. They're pretty hard to get started with though, since Orcs are so weak. Even if they are free, the spawn time takes ages.
5.) The Elves. Send out a few platoons of swordsmen and archers to hold the enemy back until you can mass an army to raid, put Glorfindel and Haldir in there, and you're good to go.
6.) The Goblins. They're really easy to get started with, good heroes (Shelob creeps me out but kicks some hardcore ass, and the dragon, c'mon) and they've got cool units. They can't take much damage though.
7.) Probably the Dwarves. They're like little miniature tanks, all of 'em, but movement speed bugs me. Gimli makes up for that though, because he's just a pimp.
I haven't really played any past that, because they're not really working much yet. I'm sure I will in the 1.06 release though! :D

'The Twilight of Man is nigh, and coming ever closer. The days have shortened into cold, forlorn darkness and sunrise to sundown is a bitter struggle for survival. But do not think for a moment that we shall not fight. We shall not go quietly into the dusk. We shall not throw down arms and flee, or surrender. We will go on, we will not falter. And even should we die, we shall make an end that will be remembered for thousands of years. For beautiful Arnor that is, for glorious Númenor that was! We are the Dúnedain, we are the Men of the North, and our foes will remember our steel!'

Really now? Mordor is the most op faction atm. Keep throwing up as many pits and slaughter houses as money allows, while getting tons of free orcs. Back that with OP nazguls and pp when your own orcs die, Mordor's unstoppable in our version Standard mordor late game in most online beta matches is 9ish pits
Oh yeah, my favorites
1. Rohan - Always loved Rohan, always will. Get slayed by my rohirric armies
2. MotE - I'm in love with Harad. Mumaks ftw!
3. Elves - They're just...well, amazing. I'll never forget 4 hordes of weapon masters killing Dalf's gandalf like 10 times
4. Isengard - Superb troops, requires lots of econ management...it's all me.
5. Gondor - Probably the most diverse and maybe all around best faction in game. You have the best pikes, some of the best cavalry, the best heroes, and some of the best archers/swordsmen late game.
6. Mordor - Swarming over your enemy with hundreds of orcs is just fun.
7. Arnor - Love Rob's models.
8. Goblins - Same as mordor, but goblins just aren't as cool.
9. Dwarves - Not nearly as fun now that two demolishers won't kill your whole FU army (). Plus, I suck as them
10. Angmar - Where do I start...my biggest fear when playing random. I have no idea how to play angmar at all, I just suck -.- Plus, they killed lore

1. Rohan- I have a love for cavalry, and with elite elves to kill the pikes while the horselords trample the enemy to heck? wicked
2. Gondor- The "infantry lords". In the beginning, they honestly suck, but at the end of a battle, gondor wins most likely no matter what.
3. Elves- They used to be around 8 and 9, but I like them more now with the new additions to them especially mirkwood. The Noledhil are totally awesome too.
4. Angmar- There's nothing that can stop 5 battalions of rangers and hill trolls each. the trolls take the buildings while the rangers kill the attackers. Angmar would be higher on the list if they had some more .... human units.
5. Goblins- This faction coul be used to its highest once used properly. The weak guys can harass any war party, while the half trolls form up ranks. The spider riders, especially, are almost a great replacemet for the rohirrim. I think this as an "evil Rohan."
6. Arnor- This faction would be way higher in the ranks with the other men factions IF they had more men units!! The armies of Arnor were not over fity percent elves but more pure men! The soldiers and archers are too weak for my taste, and the rangers are ok, the only good part of Arnor. It should not be a faction for these elite elves, but a more 75% elite soldier faction like gondor.
7. Mordor- Only thing good here are the orc spams. Everything else? Crap
8. MOTE- I tried them at several of the new maps, and they suck. The mumakil die in five seconds when against a force of archers with fire arrows/silverthorn. infantry sucks, cavalry sucks, all the stuff have the strength or weakness. They arent meant for attack, but not for defense. Pathetic.
9. Dwarves- Too slow, fat little bearded guys who only have strength. Send the archers, adn every single one of 'em are done for.
10. Isengard- a load of crappy uruks who couldnt make an army even if their life depended on it. Expensive, yet WEAK. Maybe if the pop for their soldiers were less it would be better, b/c this is supposed to be an army of 10000 that rose in literally a month or a littl emore!! The only thing gud is they move fast, but they still suck, it takes me very few time to whip their ass even with them being brutal. Even MOTE is better, and that says something........
These are all IMO.

The archers, pikes, and swords I agree. Cavalry? A squabble of Gondor knights that can get killed so easily? Not real.....Gondor - Probably the most diverse and maybe all around best faction in game. You have the best pikes, some of the best cavalry, the best heroes, and some of the best archers/swordsmen late game.

FU knights are pretty good, they're not up with rohirrim but they can take most stuff.

Try the ai for MOTE
even brutal is pretty sad
All i need were a load of ithilien rangers and the mumaks were smoked
and actually, gondor knights can barely trample much until they are upgraded with hs and HA. I have to admit though, they have strong dmg.
and also, any bad faction for me could be anyones best. I simply like a diff. style than most people....
And i'm pretty sure you could beat me anyway. I'm not that great so I really dc about your comment there.

1. Dwarves- i love their new skins, and their whole i don't care who you are, bring it!
2. Gondor- ultimate whole round faction, they have no huge weakness.
3. Elves- they would have been last in my list, but RJ ROTWK has brought them the strength they deserve.
4. Mordor- The beasts and heroes win it for me.
5. Isengard- They havent had a make over, and thats good, they are evil equivalent to Gondor.
6. Angmar- The Witchking and the trolls are the units i like.
7. Anor- once they get the magic touch they deserve they will become my 1st favorite. Not enough strong units for me.
8. Rohan- I have never really liked Rohan, maybe because their basicly a 1 unit faction.
9. MOTE- They havent got a main strength for me, i dont really like them.
10. Goblins- all i can say for them is mehh.

1. The Elves. What do you think that the reason is?
2. Isengard. Cools start up music and they are cool.
3. Gondor. They are also cool.
4. Angmar. I like the Heroes
5. Goblins. Hordes and hordes of Goblins...
6. MotE. They are cool, but not so cool as Isengard.
7. Arnor. Meh
8. I suck as Mordor
9. Rohan...I hate them.
10. Dwarves. They are small, and they never take a bath and they say "Nothing stands taller then the might of a Dwarf". Look up, Dwarves, and you'll see the ELVES!
