Well, the work I've done recently for the Elves:
- Banner carriers for each model. So far I've done 10+ models, and I have not released any screens for the models until the banner textures are worked on. We have not finished any of them yet, so it might be some time before the screens are done.
- Working through the bugs for the Elves as re-doing some AI. The Elves AI needs to be re-done to incorprate all the changes so this is a time-consuming piece to get as much of this done as possible.
So far 1.06 has been going well, with great feedback. The balance has been improved and the new changes are working well. To let you know what I've been working on this week elsewhere:
- Evil Men Power Tree
- Morinhetar Illusion summon units
- Njm's Minas Tirith (Most excellent map and I'll be getting some screenshots of this soon)
- Other mapping projects (more of clearing the bugs from the 1.06 WB version)
- and a bit more stuff

Rj, the mod is shaping up nicely. Very deserving of a spot in the "top three".
Personally, I'm really looking forward to what's going to happen to the Rivendell and Mirkwood subfactions.

NJM probably isn't mad or upset... most of the people on this forum aren't easy to aggravate. People make mistakes and most of the people on this forum know that. Also, please change Celeborn (Celeb meens silver in Sindarin AND his hair was said to be silver)'s hair color to silver.... It shouldn't be that hard but make sure that it is put low on the priority list.

soo yeah, Rob needs the support of the comm. sooo that's some good progress there.
Btw, does anyone know if there is something similar to that but Helm's Deep? Yes I know about the Last Hope mod that started in the Stone Age and still hasn't been completed (no offence, but it's v. old), but apart from that, is there a revamped map for HD? If there isn't, don't worry I'm not too bothered...but I guess it just crossed my head.

HD Last Hope has actually been making some sweet progress...but if you ever wanna see a scripting nightmare, just open up the original bfme1 helms deep in worldbuilder. Anyway, we havn't made any changes yet, not sure if any are planned.

It's hard for people to list down every last triumph along the lines of modding... seriously, would you say that you mannaged to resize an easy to resize thing or typed the letter A on a script? Oh, also, Helm's Deep should look like this from the side. As you can see, there is some sort of postern gate thingy that cuts straight through the Hornburg walls. A gate for the way that the elves retreated into the Hornburg in the movie should also have a gate (something resembling a miniature Fornost gate). Also, a smaller causeway would be nice.

I would also enjoy more Uruks attacking the fortress because there aren't enough... maybe like 1.5x is in the thing now. It's too easy to win, even with the stupid gay balistas (pardon the language, please). I want to have to be strained just because of sheer numbers, not noobish siege weapons, which I finally decided to counter (It is just so un book/movie-like, charging out numerous times and destroying the balistas).
