Last I checked there was only one Lindon unit, and it was for Arnor, unless I'm missing something

1. They didn't do much
2. Would just be more models and skins when other things are needed.
3. What's the point? They'd just be identical to one of the other subfacs anyway...

2. True, but a lot of my ideas could use skins from the Elven Alliance mod.
3. I have a bunch of ideas that would make them differant from the other Elven sub factions, do you mind if I post my tech tree?

Though, I think they'd make a good Summon - Lindon Axemen or something similar.

Units
Forlindon Cavalry: Light cavalry that is used to patrol the coasts and borders of Lindon. They use bows, and can toggle to swords.
Harlindon Warriors: Light infantry from Harlindon that use twin axes. Although it seems unusual the elves from Harlindon were more Teleri then Noldor, and would use axes more than sword and bow.
Haven Spearmen: Heavy anti-cavalry units that can form a spear wall. They are armed with spear and shield, and are Lindon's main unit.
Mithlond Sentries: Light infantry that has dual roles as an infantry unit and cavalry unit. The Sentries can toggle between spear and sword with shield.
Guardians of the Tower Hills: Heavy ranged units that act like the Silvan Warriors for Mirkwood. They have heavy armor, and are armed with bow and sword. The Guardians of the Tower Hills also have a special stealth ability.
Sentinels of the Woody End: Really light ranged units that are extremely stealthy. They use bows, but when the enemy gets too close they can pull out swords, just like the Ithilien Rangers do.
Haven Mariners: Really light infantry that is cheap and unorganized. These are the basic sailors and seamen of Mithlond, they use various weapons, including clubs, swords, and axes.
Nimrodel: The same.
Heros
Cirdan: Uses two swords, he should have a lot of water and sea going related powers.
Gildor: Uses a bow and sword, he should be very stealthy and should have a few "disappearance" powers.
Galdor: Uses a sword, he should have a few leadership and boosting powers, he should also be able to mount.
Most of the units, including Forlindon Cavalry, Harlindon Warriors, Haven Spearmen, and the Guardians of the Tower Hills, already have skins that could be used made by Celeglin. Cirdan, the Mithlond Sentries and Nimrodel you already have, so that leaves only three skins to be made.
And, as you can see Lindon is not identical to Rivendell. According to the lore Lindon was inhabit by a mix of Sindar and Noldor elves, but mainly Sindar. Lindon should not be represented by Rivendell.

im in agreement with mike in that they could make a good summon, or perhaps some of them could go to the inn.

As I said before, Lindon is not like Rivendell in any way, not in race, military, or strategy.

So...yeah. I think a light, skirmishing summoned unit would be the best thing.

I agree with the others about it being a summon power. I don't think that they would make a great Inn faction as it already looks crowded (... waiting for someone to correct/contradict me here..) in the Inn.
But that's just my two cents worth.

"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."
"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

This caught my eye......
The hell? Elves having to out-number enemy forces? And Lindon? Lindon was Gil-Galad's country. There must be many veterans from The Last Alliance. If anything, I'd imagine Lindon as even heavier then Rivendell.I don't see what you mean, the faction I posted is full of light units, that aren't stealthy (only two units), heavy (only one unit), or in between. Lindon should be very fast paced, but in a long drawn out fight most of their units would lose. They would be great for quick raids, destroying a bunch of enemy buildings, and leaving to heal their wounds. Lindon doesn't have as much skill in arms as the other factions, so the best way to win in a battle would be to have just as much, or a little more soldiers than the enemy does.
As I said before, Lindon is not like Rivendell in any way, not in race, military, or strategy.

@ Myrdin: 2 out of the 7 units have toggle, that's not 90%
@ Elvenlord: What I meant was most of Lindon's units are weaker than the other Elven units. If fighting someone like Gondor or Rohan they would win, unless they were outnumbered 2 to 1. Also, units like the Guardians of the Tower Hills, Forlindon Cavalry, and Haven Spearmen would win no matter what (unless really badly outnumbered), while the lighter (and more Sindarin) units would have to have just as many units as the enemy does, if you are fighting someone like Dwarves, and if you are fighting someone like MotE, Mordor, Goblins, etc. you can have a smaller amount of units than the enemy does. Get what I'm saying
I just had an good idea, what if you moved the Elven units for Arnor to their Elven factions, and made a Lindon a sub-faction for Arnor instead of an Elven sub-faction. Since I doubt Lothlorien sent their border guard (a.k.a Marchwardens) to fight for Arnor.

i dont think it would be hard to represent lindon with a single summone because we are not gonna try to fit a whole nation in a summon. nor are we going to try to shove them kicking and screaming into the elven faction. i think they would fit best as either taking the place of the rest of the elves in the inn or being a summon. i just dont think we could put them into the elven faction without it looking forced and it mucking up the uniqueness of each of them.
and actually you had 3 units up there that have toggles (not to mention one that pulls out swords automatically in close combat).
sorry, but youre a tad outvoted on this matter.
