The changes are in my working copy. I'll be passing it off to the Beta team in a few weeks and hopefully I can work through more.


I've never been so happy to be part of a team lol, that is honestly, the coolest thing I have ever seen in BFME, let alone a BFME mod. This tops every single one of the Fortress' EA did ten fold :D :D. Man Rob, that is some fantastic work you've done there :rolleyes:. Expecially love those siege upgrades with their little temple things :D, it's all totally awesome.

I correct my earlier post.. I wish there was a *public* Beta. There is one now but is only for the "Chosen," as I call them... the Beta testers.

Also, is the fact that the Elven RJ map fortress is severly underpowered and has no way to defend it's self on it's own like the others (against stuff like balistas and catapults) going to ever be addressed? also, the thing looks kinda... crummy and clutzily put togather... no offense meant. Am I correct in assuming that this will be addressed later?

Yeah, this fortress and structure is the look and feel of the Lothlorien sub-faction. Rivendell's will be based on the House of Elrond structure and Rivendell structures in game. Mirkwoood will most likely be different than stuff in game as there is really no starting point in game.

A while back, when I was helping with an old mod, based on the Hobbit, that isn't in production anymore, I produced a whole bunch of Mirkwood building concepts that were admired but never used. If you like, I could send those your way. Of course, if you already know the direction you want to take with Mirkwood stuff, just ignore me :rolleyes: .

I would love to see your concepts. I've not decided down any path for the Mirkwood buildings yet. The hard part is how to incorporate Thranduil's Halls into the sub-faction from the book with the whole underground thing :rolleyes:

There's something I think I asked before but am too lasy to look... Will the Galadhrim Warriors be limited like the Noldor (please, please, PLEASE don't limit it) or will they be able to be built like most other elites (Mirkwood Archers, Fountain Guards, etc.)?

Nice job on those buttons.

Suggestion for how to put the siege buttons. I think you should have a button like the fortress upgrades button to lead to the 3 types of siege. It makes it so there isn't too many buttons on there or you can keep it all together so you don't have to click and extra time.

I hate to ask again but... Will the Galadhrim be limited to 3 like the Noldors or unlimited? Or will the Noldors be nerfed and made to be buildable like Lorien Warriors etc.?
