Gimli - Moria's Vengeance - Angered by the loss of his fellow dwarves in Moria, Gimli is able to strike the ground with all his might to cause massive earthquakes to ripple out from where he stands.
Haldir - Piercing Arrow - Haldir's arrows can fly through the heart of the enemis and keep going. Can also cause knockback.
Boromir - Steadfast - Boromir is a true leader and will never abandon his allies, as he nears death, he and his allies near gain damage faster and faster. (the more life he loses, the damage of everyone near his increases, but Bormir's increases far greater)
Will post more if I can think of any, and if these are along the correct 'path'.

very few heros will become superhuman (or superelven, or...well you get the idea ) in the old ring-hero sense. so just because someone like eomer picks up the ring, doesnt mean he will be strong enough to take out all of an enemy's army and buildings.
Note: treebeard and other heros of abnormal proportions can physically put on the ring because it will change size to fit the wearer (watch the scene where isildur picks up the ring for the first time really closely).

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.
I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Dunno if u read what I posted....but please read it....Haldir waering the ring? Trabeard cant even put it on lol...please read what I posted before and consider it
Of course the ring can fit anyone. That's how it was made. Do you think Sauron and Frodo have the exact same ring sizes? And how many times in history did the ring "fall" off peoples' hands of its own accord, because it got bigger and slipped off...

(not being sarcastic, go ahead )
Edit: I knew it's size changes but hte ring in barbol's finger would be like an obese person's belt...(Just sounds weird, its like shelob with the ring as a bracelete in one of her legs )

They're not necessarily selfish, the ring has a corrupting influence. If you want to create a hypothetical situation in which every hero is selfish and want to have the ring go ahead then ^^.

About the what if...Ok then
About the ring getting bigger, What a ring it would be LOL
Speaking of which...
In the scene where Frodo drops the ring in the snow and Boromir picks it up, the prop used for the close up of the ring with Frodo in the distance was 6 feet in diameter!!!! Hows that for big! That would be too big for Treebeard
How 'bout a magic trick?

I don't believe that Aragorn, Legolas, Elrond or Haldir would wear the ring for example. Anyway, I must admit it would be very interesting to see Im just saying everyone knew it could only be used to do harm and evil, and that only the Dark Lord could use it freely, because he was its only master.

The hobbits or Gollum find the ring, take it to the fortress. After about eight minutes of being kept at the Fortess, the ring can be collected by a hero. Here's the summary of what I think should be done with the Ring heroes according to each faction.
Gondor
The Ring can go to Gandalf, Aragorn, Boromir or Faramir. Each hero gains double armor, damage and area of effect as well as blastback. Gandalf gets extra damage for his powers, which recharge quicker. Aragorn gets massive boost to his powers, increasing Athelas heal, Blademaster boost, Leadership strength, Elendil radius and amount of Oathbreakers summoned. Boromir and Faramir gain new powersets, with very effective powers, and become much stronger, but will become corrupted and die/go evil/whatever after a while.
Rohan
The Ring can go to Radagast, Theoden, Eomer or Eowyn.

A bracelet.What's a bangle?
Trust me its six feet in order to get the camera efect of close up of ring/Frodo fuzzy in distance to fuzzy close up of ring/clear Frodo. Its a great camera trick! But yeah mehI think thats just a close shot of the ring heheh, meh, who cares
@ Hasfusel
The point is that I think that the ring can't even be wielded by a new master to gain new strength, but I'm not the one to know, ask mike or AA. I think it would just be better to have one different hero for each faction that can be bought for with the ring like Elendil or Isildur for Gondor, Eorl for rohan, Sauron for Mordor, Galadriel for elves, etc.
