Toggle Rock Drop? not bad....
I've known about the Narnia wiki, my knowledge is usually sufficient and better at the moment.
The First Battle of Beruna was not invented for the movies. in the books, that same battle occurs at the Fords of Beruna.

Edit: Yes, it also says that the griffins were invented for the movies.

speaking of the beast horde, I'm looking for beaver and badger material. check out my topic here for that!

One, that might be beyond my coding skills. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a way to easily change out one unit for another. LUA maybe?
Two, I'm at a lack of animals. To do this, I'd want ten animals, five starter and five replacers. I honestly can't think of ten smallish animals that could fight (yeah, no rabbits. they're too cute. ) Although if you can just come up with a ton of them, then be my guest!

When upgraded (granted in the rank) you upgrade the model to USER_1, for example, which uses different anims and another model Yeah, that's pretty easy, no LUA required
But yeah, you should have animals that could be able to fight, and not rabbits Their to small to even notice enough in-game... But you don't have to have 10 animals, do you? You could just have 2-3 animals that are random in the horde (see Peasants for those codes... One main animal, that doesn't have any stats or anything, but just collects different objects to the unit... That way, you could make another four objects, for example, that contains different stats like damage, health, animations, and what happens with them when they upgrade )
The 4th Age version 0.8 has been released: Link

Rhinos are a summonable power that summons three individual units. Remember, this is a BFME I mod. for the BFME II version (a long way into the future) I will probably have to expand the factions somewhat.
additionally, I'm trying to represent the diversity of the Narnian creatures through random coding in as many places as possible.

I'd like to ask if I could help out with the mapping side of the mod as well, Jeth, if you have any places open. I have the first film and a screen capture thing and am able to script maps reasonably well. I am also going to get one of the first copies of Prince Caspian when it comes out over here in New Zealand as well (on my birthday! )
I am now and officially a total fan of this mod!

btw, Jeth, one question, though I hope that I'm not breaking any modding rules by asking since your mod is unique and you don't have to give any secrets about how it works away but how did you manage to get one of those Bear models from Worldbuilder and make it into a fully functional unit? I kinda wanna know so I can make Beorn functional for the good player on my TBoFA maps, if it's OK to ask!

Actually, most of the credit for the bear goes to Flameguard, all I did was some tweaking on the code.
As for Prince Caspian, I've already pre-ordered it! I didn't wait!
The bear is no secret because its excessively simple. In a nutshell, I created a new unit, and had it borrow EA's texture, model, anims, and some code. All but one of the skins is Flameguard's work. I'll PM you with technical details.

I pre-ordered Prince Caspian as well, it's coming to my door on the 9th November so I'll be able to wake up and have it right on my birthday! Yay! I loved that film myself, I think they did a much better job with it then the BBC did on their Narnia series way back in the times of old.
I'm just about to reinstall BFME 1, btw, so I'll be up and mapping for you soon! What part of Narnia would you like me to map for you first? How about that beach area next to the ruins of Cair Paravel in Prince Caspian, that might be a good start?
So, is that all you have to do to make the bear work?!? Confound it, there was me thinking up all these technical little ideas on how to do it and it was something as simple as that under my nose the whole time!
Technical details would be great, I want to get down to making Beorn work in beta4.6 for BFME II and RotWK as soon as possible!
This is a job for... da da da! Coder man!
Thanks

me and Jeth will have to talk about what to map. i am already working on the Fords of Beruna, plan on doing Fords of Beruna 2, as well as the Lampost area. i suppose we will divide it up somehow. anyways, looking forward to mapping with you.
by the way how is your worldbuilder forum going?

1: I'll have to write up a list of locations to be mapped. ANYONE IS WELCOME TO SUGGEST PLACES!
2:My sister, Eruthiadwen, has her private "I so wanna do" list." She gets that right because she's head mapper, and yeah she is your boss, in a sense.
So hold tight, let me (and whoever else has suggestions) do some brainstorming, and you'll have a list you can pick and choose from!
Keep working on that Five Armies map! We don't want to see that suffer!
