I usually update once per week to fix minor Glitches
I encounter during gameplay
Meaning I can't really remember

Hmmm ....I re-textureed Mounted Aragorn and made him a separate object ,
since he glitched when made as one object

So its best to get the latest ....

MAJOR additions will be posted here ...

If you have ideas , suggestions , bugs post them here

Just a thought But it could give you something interesting to work with.. Make an aragorn Mounted model with bow instead of a regular horsemen.....

For Legolas I know this is possible cause i was playing around with it.. Make an Ability called Arrow Nightmare.... Like get all the Arrow Projectiles into one weapon for example: Haldir Golden Arrow, Thorn of vengeance, hawkstrike, cripple shot, arrowstorm etc... and join them together to all shoot at one time like a massive bomb-bared....over a large radius and a medium duration.. It could be really powerful and look pretty cool.... Just an Idea Though....

oh, and dang! how did you create the Witch-King blast where loads of the anduril barbs go out, but red?!?!

I'm going for Movie realism with a mix of magic...

That power don't suite Legolas
I did the suggestion given by Yams in a can .. Its monster slayer like in ROTWK

Aragorn DOES use a bow when mounted

I'm like really 99.99999% finished , just maybe testing for glitched and giving Balance

A tiny update


Orc pikes

Orc with pikes

Gameplay- wize nothing special , Just another horde type for the Orcs

Cheap and weak compared with the Easterlings

I always wanted these guys in .. and I stumbled across a perfectly good model left by EA

I used 4 different skins to give a bit of variety ...

Dude I think The Light Orb Would make more sense if it was for gandalf? Cause Elrond Doesnt really fight saruman in books or movies.... Its just a thought.

That the only power(s) I took liberty with as its not Movie based
I made the elves have 3 types of sprites : Workers , Galadriel children and Heroes

I got the idea after watching Stargate Arc of truth where the Good ancient battle the evil Ori at the end
They transform into fire and light respectively

ANOTHER UPDATE :

Erupting Mount Doom

Mount doom erupts randonly and spews molten rock into the air

Check it out in the Large Scale LOTR map in the MOD

I spent a few hours making and perfecting the eruption
If you want to add it to your mod / Map just credit me
Its really simple to add ingame and then place in WB
as CINEfireBig object

You can even add it via Map.ini BUT use MordorCatapultRockProjectile instead

It will if Fellbeasts and Eagles Fly by :p

No damage to ground units , tho It is possible via coding

I could have make it even more complex but after 3 hours just getting the FX and random projectile just right I left it as is

Arrgghh ... damn it! I don't know how, but you must have stolen this idea from my mind! :p
I've been thinking about this for a while now, though in a little different way, but didn't find a gap to realize it yet, since there always was some other stuff I had to work on. And what must I see now?
I feel like being ... second. That hurts. :mellow:

Anyway, this looks great, well done. :p

By the way: This is the "Word of Doom" fire wave particle, isn't it?

Its part of it ..

There are like 3 weapons with diff timing each firing 12 projectiles ( big and small ) at separate locations

Like Sauron's NEW Arcane Sorcery power

This gives the look of a randomized eruption

That's why although I COULD make it to hit ground units , It will take forever to get the XYZ co-ordinates right

Glad you like it

You can USE it in your MOD if you want ... Its FREE for anybody !

And A nice Update

The Haradrim Captain

He is a unit that is created at the HARADRIM CITADEL , which also create Elite Lancer Hordes

Captain using sword

He can use a Bow as well

using Bow

He can COMBINE with the elite guards to form one Horde
They attack together , even with the weapon switching

combining into one Horde

They can get Heavy armour upgrades

ugraded armour

They can ride the Mumakil and attack from on it

Riding and Attacking

-------------------------------------------------------

He gives leadership and Pillage to Haradrim Units ONLY and can train Haradrim Hordes

ALL Haradrim Hordes - Easterlings , Archers , Lancers ride the Mumakil

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I always wanted more for Harad Mini-Faction ,

a mini-Hero that can combine with other soldiers

and a weapons toggle Harad unit , that all ride on the mumakil

Now all in one :p

well, I do believe he would've looked better with Haradrim armour, as opposed to Rhunic armour...

Still, nice functions. Could be a little closer to the Horde I think, when combined

How he functions is really what the update is about

He needs to be a bit in front as his attack range must be JUST RIGHT

In realty HE IS A HORDE .. so when combined must SYNC with the other Lancer Horde

Another little update :

Mostly polishing up the MOD now ...

PIC : Minis Tirith Outer wall

The large LOTR map with the MOD has been re-done a bit :
1. The outer wall for Minis Tirith looks much better and has functional Treb / Tower Expansions
2. Mordor has been upgarded visually as well
3. Separated the MinisTirith player from the Helm's Deep player
i.e Rohan units only at Helm's Deep and Gondor units at Minis Tirith

To the MOD
1 . Added the models by xxx Mr. xxx : Full Credit to him ofcourse ( really good stuff ) !
: Mounted Aragorn and Mounted Boromir

Yeah it looks low from that angle ..
From the front its the same height as the inner wall

think of the inner Building space between the wall as a raised level ...
Then comes the inner wall , effectively adding a Level to minis tirith

I just installed the 29 jan update. tried it 3 times with the remove and replace as ive done with all previous updates and i get this every time.

Thanks for the heads up ..

The latest update is 13 FEB 2011

I tested the download and its fine

I added a new power for Merry : Fireworks
EA left some really nice FX to use

FireWorks

I also added some minor stuff
1. the Rohan Battle tower with buit up anims and snow states
2. Redid Rohan Archers : Now using swords and bows with armour upgrades
3. the Sprites now can Self Explode
4. Some more but play to find out

Looks like im still getting the same error. and its seems im the only one getting it. regular game works just fine just not the mod. looks like im out of luck.
