I doubt it ... The Balance is the Mini Fort ...
Men Faction must have real-world devices to win
The fort is just a Defensive Edge and can be quickly overrun if not defended properly
Mordor is Defended by the Magic Towers and spectres
Dwarves is defended by the Super Tower and the Dwarf Lords
Isengard has their Hunter Wargs and the Powerful Saruman
Elves have their superb archers and lots of Stealth
Harad have the Mumakil with mounted archers

This is how I envision Balance

Men : Economy and Re-building .. little magic
Elves : Magic and Healing .. little Machinery
Dwarves : Machinery and Economy .. little magic

Isengard : Economy and Magic ...little Machinery
Mordor : Magic .. lots of it !!
Harad : a bit of everything

A nice .. Update ...

A Shire Party Tent

Party Tent

You build the Shire Part Tent , It increases the Commandpoind limit by 200 : COST $2000

But wait.. You can throw parties !!!

You must first buy the party supplies : COST $2000

Then you can throw as much parties as you want
Your troops gain a level and Heal faster whenever the fireworks goes off

You can always buy more FireWorks and throw more parties : COST $1000

You can get a 50% Discount on Parties from the Marketplace

I was thinking the idea was that the parties boost the troops morale ...
But via Attributes only Faster Healing and Leveling Up seems to match
The level up makes the structure worthwhile

I will add this structure in 1 week from now !

If I knew renx it would be even more impressive ...
Yeah 100% coding .. with a bit of WorldBuilder

I increased the cost of parties to $1000 as you can almost be guaranteed a level 5 battalion
but only one level 5 battalion OR 4 level two battalions ...

It also heals a bit and restores Banner Carriers while the fireworks are going Off

EDIT : The auto level up is not working as planned ...
So you get 'Part Food' which you can use to level up all your troops
And the units heals faster during a party

I just finished testing and will upload it a bit
...And I'm burned out.. took me two days to perfect

That looks nice! I was always wondering weather or not i should use the party tent but decided against it because it would be a pain to code. Am i right?

P.s: Maybe you could add a few hobbits to guard it at the 4 corners and make it so only 1 horde can use it at a time? or something like that.

Eager to see what will follow next ! :) I wish I use ini's and coding like you !
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.[1]

Just Something small

For the MenFaction : Marketplace

Animal Livestock
-------------------------------------

Animal Livestock

Farms breed animals for extra income
Reduces the cost of Party Supplies by 50%
The enemy can kill these animals for bounty !

They also have

Nutrition :

All Infantry and Cavalry gain 200 HP

----------------------------------------------------

I got the idea from playing Stronghold 2 .
The gameplay has both Civilian life and War-time activities
Both go together to bolster army formation

This allows men to be a more 'down to earth' faction

I swear you are making me overkill. come on i mean: they gain exp from a structure by being near it and now they get extra resources and they get the rohan fortress? overkill.

Cool unique/new idea's, its too bad I don't have much time to experiment with new things nowadays, it's cool to see someone else "take over" :p
You are really making some game-play changing things, very nice ;)

Most mods when editing a lot of commandsets and such there campaigns don't work, its a pain to recode. Just play the campaign on the main game.

The Campaign is 100% playable with 'THE Power Of The ring'

There are a few Issues with the ' Rise Of Harad '

Like it tells you to build a GoblinCave but you must build a Haradrim Palace etc ...
But the last I tested you can still play the campaign
This is because Harad hijacked Goblins building names to allow for Skirmish AI

Thanks Ridder ... I still get inspiration from you guys at the forum

My true aim is to push the limits of INI coding .. with little or no Renx involved
If its a good idea I'll really try to implement it

EDIT : JUST finished uploading the new stuff on the3rdage.net

the codes on 3rdage.net ARE NOT THE FINAL ONES ...
The final codes are totally using a different system
Give me a week to fully test It .... The code is ridiculous ...
Hell i don't even understand them now ..

But I JUST got it to work upgrading the Horde Automatically as planned
In a Radius around the tent only

I only need to redo the ObjectFilter and the explevel.ini for each men horde

The Party Tent is Fully functional now on the3rdage.net

I even got the units to Celebrate while the music is being played
and the Fireworks are going off

It affects only the units near the tent .. so you have to crowd around it for maximum effect

And each 'Party Hosted' will give any horde around the tent a level up

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
( The coding involves about 10 upgrades and stuff so its not the easiest thing to understand )
I'm actually quite surprised it even works ! :tongevil:
