I just thought I'd point out something. I think in the book, at the Black Gate, the Mouth says Saurons "terms" for the return of Frodo. These might be useful to see what Sauron wanted and stuff like that. I think Isengard was to be given to the Mouth.

Hi I am new in this Forums but followed this mod since its beginning on this site and on mod db and as I said in an other post it seems to be great.
But I have one question on the Minas Tirith map.
So, can you dreamer eventually tell me (us) how you made the top of the minas tirith map, that the units can go up there without going through a wall cause for me the top looks like it is done with the height tool whatever its name is because of the groundtexture, but that wouldnt work as much as i know and the units couldnt o throught the mountain and so you must have found an other way..???
I made a big map of minas tirith for bfme1 some time ago with some walls under the top of minas tirith but if I want to make the top bigger it is not compatible with the rings and so on if you want you can look at it here: http://mevault.ign.c...age.php?id=9596
there you can see that the top is out of place to the rest of the map...

and since some time I work on an bigger version too but have no Ideas how to make the top.

It would be really really nice if you could help me with an answer about this??
thank you very much.

and keep on the great work on this mod I couldnt await its release and to send sauron in the Battle :thumbsupsmiley:

Freeedy,

The access to the top of my Minas Tirith is done via scripting and it will work only because it's a singleplayer map. For a skirmish map you'll need to think up something new - try to play with the postern gates, I heard it worked...

Will we be seeing any new heroes or units not included in vanilla BFME2? Ie, Imrahil, Halbarad, regular Galadriel...

ok thank you very very much Dre@mer but one little question eventually
so is the top made with the high-tool whatever its name is with which you make hills or a higher plane or so on or is the whole top an extra model or is something like other models under the top? I dont think so but i am not sure:)
that would be cool to know thanks thanks thanks...:thumbsupsmiley:

and good luck futhermore with this awesome mod.

I wonder where exactly, the campaign will begin. Driving back the beleaguered Men of the West from the Black Gate? Capturing Osgiliath? Driving the Elves and Dwarves out of Rhovanion?

And all the Dark Lord's generals, Saruman, the Witch-King, and others who fell in The War of the Ring?
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

Driving back the beleaguered Men of The West from the Black Gate would be interesting if it is started here because we can set the campaign started where the frodo failed to destroy the ring at Mount Doom then Sauron goes it and retake the ring and put a form of him again and drive back the league of Men of The West. But this is only my opinion. =)

do not know how's the storyline goes for Dre@mer.

I think the campaing will start at Minas Tirith. That'd be the most logical to me. First Minas Tirith, where you deal with Men. Then Isengard, Lorien, semi-finals at Weathertop, and then (I think) Rivendell. But maybe there's also a mission to drive the Dwarves out of Erebor. I don't know. MT, Isengard, Lorien, W-Top, Rivendell seems the most logical to me.

Obviously killed when the Nazgul came.

But why not have Eomer live long enough to defend Rohan?

But this is one of the few that ends in ruin, death and desolation...

Poor Arwen :p I have a cool idea: let her be at every level, guarded by lots of NPC dudes, to see how Middle-Earth falls :p Would be quite fun at Rivendell, not? :p

And Eowyn and Faramir? Don't they die at Minas Tirith, since they both actually were there?

Sam would obviously turn Mordor into a massive garden, instead of destroying it. :p

and Sam would become "Mayor of Mordor", which sounds like a huge anti-climax to me :p

anyway, I'm sure Dre@mer thought of everything and needs no suggestions, right? :p

What are the factions that are going to be availble? Can you play Semi-Deserts (Harad and Rhun) and Mordor as two completetly different armies, for example???
