we have the same problem... windows 7 ultimate sucks!!!!!

hey i got the usa missions for contra 007 and on mission 3 im stuck i killed everything map is empty and nothing happens help pls

The campaign in 007 was never finished or meant to be released. It has many bugs. Wait for 008 Campaign.

i had installed contra 007 mod and when i run my game i get my all game menu blank , just see tha images

Hi there. I'm now playing the contra 007 mod. But it is still crashing though..
I have apply the fixed AI scripts on the scripts folder on ZH game folder, but the fixed AI scripts (skirmishscript.scb) doesnt give any effect.
can anyone here help me ?

Give us more info. When did the game crash? What was the game setting at that moment? How often does it happen?
BTW, AI patch can barely be noticed since the behavior is pretty much the same but some error scripts are fixed.

Well, the game usually crash in the middle of battle like that...or sometimes also when i got 5 star rank...sometimes even random and unpredictable...
i make the setting on the game kinda high, but i;m using Gforce9500 and there is no lag when i'm playing.
It happens everytime i played the skirmish mode.....yeah, almost every skirmish

Every time I try to open the installer it says the file doesn't exist.

There are some bugs within 007 that can cause this error. I think I know how to get Contra running in windows 7. It worked 3 times in a row now, so I hope it works for other people as well: Just install everything on another computer with win xp, dont forget to test it here, then copy the whole folder to your win 7 computer. export the registry entries from the xp one (only the c&c ones of course), then import them on win7 (just double clicking), there will be some errors doings this, but this doesnt matter. If you want to do this, dont forget to use a correct unused key for the installation on xp, if you are asked for the key after copying, reenter the same key again. Then uninstall the xp installation to be sure you dont use the same key twice. Maybe you have to adjust the registry on win7 to match the new folders/drives but this way it seems to work.

In my contra there was no "!Contra007-en.big" file instead of this i got "!Contra007-ru.big". But I'm an English user.Please help me.I need "!Contra007-en.big" file to understand the language of the game.

When you start the Contra launcher you will find the language option. Choose English from there.

Sorry.I mean when i started my Contra there is some 'Missing GUI' in every description.In the 'Troubleshooting' forum of this site they talked about "!Contra007-en.big". But in my contra there was no "!Contra007-en.big". Instead of this i got "!Contra007-ru.big". So i badly in need of "!Contra007-en.big".
