Tool works fine it just needs the relevant DLLs - you can find them on Google and just put them into the same folder you extracted the tool and all its dependency files to.

somebody knows how to make more than 20 abilities?
I made 24 ability, but just the last 4 empty slots ...

But I think, the problem is an other one. If it's so, you must wait until I'm back, because you can't edit the aptfiles in this regard and I can't explain, what must you do, because it's a complex part :wacko: .
But thats a theory, so I can't promise anythink.

Is it possible to change for example a units speed only for 1 map?In finalbig it works but I want a change only for 1 mission(map).

I copied a unit from finalbig and put it into a map.ini .After that I attached it to my custom map and tried it out if it works but the game crushed.

So in map.ini you can only change the weather,water reflections,and fog?

There are a few basic ways to do this ...
What experience do you have modding bfme?
If a beginner, a bit later (several hours) I'll do it for you.

Firstly login to the forum Jester.

Than question yourself on what topic you wanna educate yourself.
I guess you wanna learn about map.ini scripting.
On the site itself you have a bunch of tutorials listed under the term "articles". In that list you'll find two articles about map.ini scripting.

After you done that and you still have trouble with it create your own 'topic'
(post under the right catergory ex. battle for middle earth 1 modding)
But only if you did your research cause how else can you understand the awnsers people will give you.
(your post doesn't fit under this topic)


No need to appolegy or anything just keep the forums structure correct & clean.

Thats the end, now I leave the community.
At the moment I havn't enought time for modding, so thats the final version of this tool.
