Coding of SEE looks like all other mods I guess, since we all use notepad to edit the editable variables that EA gave us. The actual game engine programming is not open source though :-P

Yeah, but what I'm asking is if it looks like one of those traditional scripting languages or if the «coding» we're speaking of is all that stuff inside the .ini files.

It's all the stuff inside of the .ini files in INI.big of BFME II.

It's a secret not even the developers know. =p

(It's not polite to ask when mods will be released.)

Look around - I think Nazgul said something about the status and at what point he will release the first version of SEE-DC.

Give him some time, he's quite busy.

But to answer your question: No, not in the first release. The mod has been rebuilt from scratch, so next time there's a release it will only be possible to play as Dwarves or Goblins. The Mordor stuff will come later, but I would assume that the "Mordor wall" and especially the Nine would reappear. The Nine was one of the main things about SEE, if I recall correctly, so I think you'll be seeing them later ;)

hi Nazgul.i have a suggestion.you announced that you will have these four good factions in your game : - GONDOR- ROHAN- LOTHLÓRIEN- EREBOR

i suggest that instead of theses make ((Hobbits)).so four good factions would be : MEN-ELVES-DWARVES-HOBBITS.

of course it's just a suggestion.

I do not think that will happen (at all). =p

And sherv, please post in the correct forums for suggestions.

Then that is your internet browser's problem.

Did you even click on the link Matt?

sherv, what is the topic's name, the one you need to go to? I think it's safe for you to post your suggestion here, as you did, because it's pretty big. Unfortunatly, it's not going to happen. SEE was built on the idea of splitting up Rohan and Men, and thus we won't be seeing Hobbits as an own faction. Besides, there's only so much Hobbits can do anyways. Believe me, I've made a Hobbit faction once, although it was for BFME1.

Like mr Lauri said, there won't be a Hobbit faction due to them not being a warrior people at all. They will be a subfaction only. I'd rather split elves into two factions instead, but that won't happen either until we finish the mod as planned, and if we still want to improve it.
