This is me turtling like an absolute baws versus 7 mental hard AI Russia in a slightly modded Infantry Only game. It took a solid 45 mins to build the base in the face of a never ending, constantly streaming horde of enemies. By the end I had no losses save for a Sentry Gun, and killed almost 16 000 enemy soldiers. Most of the kills are credited to the dozen Eradicators I put on the bridge, but because there was also a constant influx of Attack Dogs and Crazy Ivans from the water access, the defences there also did some good work. I'm especially proud to have fit all those buildings neatly in such a crowded place. Can't wait for 3.3.3's save/load feature, so I actually get to play through these games.

Yeah... would've been nasty. But I was playing without superweapons, because 7 AI opponents...

Force-firing Gyrocopters might actually work on chokepoints like this


In-game speed vs real life speed?

You modded the infantry only gamemode ? What did you change ? Some unfun support powers ? Unit access ?

You modded the infantry only gamemode ? What did you change ? Some unfun support powers ? Unit access ?

I re-added the Russian Palace, as well as the eco boosters, made Reznov & Krukov trainable, as well as the Cyborg Vanguard and Prism Hoplite, both being tier 4 infantry, requiring the eco boosters to be built. I also re-added Uragan, Norino, the Coordnode, the Skyray Cannon, the Psychic Tower, and Yunru, disabled the Bloatick Trap, the Mercury Cannon, the Wallbuster, Geneburst, and Devourer. I tweaked the power consumption and cost of tech access buildings in a vain effort to balance them properly, and fixed some bugs.

Your version sounds more intense and less annoying as nothing is sniping your vulnerable infantry with support powers.

 

Guess i should venture to that department too, since i dont care about PvP, making the game less annoying should be a worthwhile effort.

Only that doesn’t work because a player won’t see the epsilon adept blocking the virus, they’ll just see the entire virus.
