Another weekend free from work is soon at an end, so I gotta tell you there's no chance to make a playable balanced "beta testable" version of Moria by Xmas which was my initial plan. New bugs and unfinished things (like missing burning death fx) keeps popping up, so this will take more time for sure. But whatever... SEEs been here since 2007 so... :trickydick:

Well.. we did get a whole way though with it :p Balancing isn't really easy if there is no other faction to balance with, so yea :p

Loads of polishing today... :thumbsuphappy: However, this is what the testing of the BDFX for cavalry gave:

SEE Burning Death FX problems with;
- Wolf Pack! Flames + smoke, but smoke goes away as soon as Wolf drops dead?
- Wolf Riders! Flames + smoke, but no smoke on Wolf when unit drops dead?
- Warg Riders! Flames + smoke, but there's no smoke on Warg when unit drops dead?

Semms like the problem is isolated to the warg/wolf, and the smoke... :mellowthumbsup:

Ok.. I managed to help Naz out of the fire again... well actually i didn't get him out of the fire... merely helped him add smoke to it -.-' But that's the same thing :D

Another brick wall... the FX for non summoning spells like PLUNDER and DETERIORATE seems impossible to edit to my liking. :flame:

Happy news is around 80% of the maps have scaled trees now.

Yeah I noticed that my main map (the one I use almost all the time for testing) suddenly got scaled trees :thumbsupcool:
And yes, I do take breaks... but some things just are out of my reach. Hopefully Geel can sort them out...

Well I know you get into power coding modes....then get tired and...stuff. :evgr:

Im wondering if the hill troll should get scrapped. The new animations look kinda awkward, and then his death / decay animations are model switching to the cave troll. I like having him as variety but it lacks polish. He might look better without the big pole-arm he carries though. thoughts?

Yeah, he's not fully polished yet... The decay will go, as we dont have any skeleton for him. We might also change the weapon into something slightly more "realistic". As you can see, polishing is a huge task in itself :aarambo:

I had this for a wekk or so. Thought is was due to my comp being overloaded or something.. but it's worrying that NJM has it too. Have no problems in game. I can do whatever and I can save, load, etc... but when quitting to desktop, I get a crash...

Its been doing it as long as I can recall for me.... Though it seems that even if I let the shell map load it crashes and I need to end task.. this just started for me. But the prior crash was always there if I quit before the shell map started.
