You have to follow the steps in http://t3aonline.net/setup/ and if that does not work you have to explain in greatest detail what you have done and what does not work exactly.
"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Hey,
this seems to be related to forshires custom baked version which is not published by us, therefore we can't help you with it, apart from advising to reinstall if problems persist or to get an original installation and manually patch the game up to 1.06 and the T3A:Online launcher.

I do, and there are problems because:
- I don't know which version (original or online edition i instal)
- after that which patches i need? (i've instaleed 1.03 polish and i can't instal 1.06, because lack of 1.05 but i can't find this one)
- there is info about t3a server to instal, but there is no link...
I need just step by step what to do...
It's extremely disorderly and unable for me to achieve ;/

The online edition already includes the patches and our launcher.
The launcher can be downloaded on the downloads page of t3aonline.net
The3rdage.net has 1.05 in its downloads section.

Hi, I'm not sure what your problem is exactly, but we don't give support for gameranger, simply because we have nothing to do with it.
If you play custom maps you should always restart bfme because those are likely to cause out of sync errors. If you can not join other people's rooms make sure to have the latest patch 1.06 installed.

Make sure to follow http://forums.revora...allation-guide/ for bfme1
If you have installed the game already follow the instructions for installing the latest patches. After that you won't get the cd error anymore.

Questions should be formulated CLEARLY and CONSTRUCTIVELY, and describe the issue in detail.
At the very least, include the following:
- What kind of error do you get?
- What game version are you using?
- What operating system are you using? (Windows 8, Vista, etc)
We will be happy to assist you.
Hey dudes. I hope I'm not writing anything that hasn't been resolved already. Alright, so I'm trying to do a Let's Play of BFME1's campaigns, but before I can tackle the problem of desktop video capture, I need to succeed in downloading the game. I've done my very best to make this work independently: I went to ForShire, watched the tutorial videos (and this one as well: ), and got all the way to the end of my installation before being hit with this message:
In case the image fails, it reads: "ShellExecuteEx failed; Code 2. The system cannot find the file specified." And clearly that puzzle piece matters, because I cannot get T3A Online to launch, nor BFME Desktop Mode. I know this has happened to at least one other person two weeks ago, based on the comment section of TheDestroyer001's tutorial video. To fill in the other gaps: I was trying to use the 1.5.0 version. My computer operates on Windows 7, x64-based PC. I've already tried Crash Fixer. Finally, although this may be unimportant, I own f#$%ing McAfee security, and it quarantined a couple of things during the download, which I (foolishly?) disregarded at the time.
The funny thing is, I DID manage to download ROTWK, and even the Edain Mod, and I'm fairly sure they're supposed to be harder to do than this. But hopefully, you can give me (or I can give you) a Gandalf moment when it comes to this issue. "Of course, of course! Absurdly simple, like most riddles when you see the answer." Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Well, for one, Forshire's version has the campaign removed. So you won't be able to play it with his version.
I suggest going here: https://forums.revor...allation-guide/ and see how far you get. Get stuck, report in there.

Thanks for getting back to me. However, now there's a new roadblock. I got to the end of the installation (sound familiar?) and it looked like BFME was ready to play, with the picture of Orodruin and everything. But then it just kept sitting there, and then this message popped up:
Have you seen this before?

Right, go to Application Data (quick way of getting there is typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar), open the My Battle for Middle-earth Files folder (if it doesn't exist, create it, make sure to use the exact title I wrote), then put this in there:
Options.ini 165bytes 174 downloads
The game should create that file on its own, but refuses to do so on newer operating systems, meaning it can't start. The one I attached includes a line for widescreen support and some lines that help prevent server issues.
