Hi, friends!

 
I have some news about our project.
We continue working on BFME: Tactics. 
And we extremely need artists, who will draw sketches of mordor buildings.
Here is examlpes of sketches
 
If you want to help us - just send me a PM.
 
 
Also, we need ini-coders, map designers, 3d modellers.
 
Question for Revora admins: can we have a subforum  for our project?

What exactly do you want? Just a subforum, or full webhosting for your website (which would then become part of the Revora network)?

I really like the Morgul lights effects. =D

 

And I guess Irene's right - it's only a desert with a fiery Sauron, a new better Mordor Fortress (looks inspired by the Black Gate which I really like), some form of corruption effect (that might be a spreading game feature?). But yeah - it's only a desert map. =p

 

P.S. That Gondor beach map is nearing completion... I really hope I can send it in before Christmas.

It'll be awesome if you finish map before the 31 of december. We want to release first beta on New Year's holidays. And i hope to see in beta your map. ;)

I can give you guys a subforum (hosted status) here, but I want to have your word on some things:

  • that you will actually use this subforum as a development hub (I can give you a staff forum etc).
  • that it will be updated regularly.
  • that you will not just use it as a place to advertise renders & screenshots etc. If you're just going to do that, this thread works fine for it.

If you can do that, I'd be more than happy to set it up for you guys asap.

No, Matt, I meant it's disappointing in that the Morgul Sorcery or whatever green lighting looks amateurish. There's no blending, it looks just like it's been shoved right on top of the model. Which, as I said, is a shame because it's not as good as the other stuff we've seen from this mod. And the 'tainted' look doesn't blend with the Orc Pits. There's a purpose behind the 'bib' section of W3Ds, to blend it into the map, and the lack thereof in this image is obvious.

 

I'm not laying into you, Ruudy, I'm just making the point that you've done better. Yeah, you've no reason to impress me, but the point is that usually I'm so blown away with your production streamlining that when I notice something out of place, it sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of your work.

I just saw your work and it is amazing guys. There are some questions I wanted to ask you:

1)Do you guys have a release date for this beta?
2)Are you going to separate the 'men of the west' faction into two factions?
3)How many, and which factions are you planning to do?
4)After the beta release how long you think it will take to release the game?
