That sounds like you're trying to remove the wrong wsock32.dll. :p
To clarify, you should remove the one in your RA2/YR/MO folder, not anywhere else. Especially not the one you might find in a system folder. :p

Unfortunately it didn't work, the same thing keeps occurring, nothing happens at all :(

Make sure your anti-virus isn't blocking anything (try disabling the anti virus for a moment before launching game online), and remove the wsock32.dll you have in the folder.

If that doesn't help, don't delete anything, but post your syringe.log and cncnet.ini here.

Okay... now it's telling me that I need wsock32.dll to run the program...

"The program cannot start because WSOCK32.dll is missing from your computer."

Here you go Mevitar!

Thanks for doing this.

Here's the syringe.log (at mediafire because the forum won't let me upload)

I think i see your issue. Try it this way:

Launch cncnet.exe.
Click on Settings button.
Replace whatever you have in the command line arguments line with this: "gamemo.exe" -CD -LOG -win (just copy+paste).
Click on OK, and if it will work, launch the mod through cncnet.exe from now on.

Okay... now it's telling me that I need wsock32.dll to run the program...

"The program cannot start because WSOCK32.dll is missing from your computer."

Are you trying to run through Launch Mental Omega button? If yes, try clicking on Play on CnCNet button instead, or simply run cncnet.exe (and if nothing will happen after doing that, try doing what i wrote above in this post). It might need to download the cncnet version of wsock32.dll file, and that should fix it.

BTW, what was the initial issue you had that the game didn't want to start?

Okay, now I'm getting this error message, "The ordinal 14 could not be located in the dynamic link library WSOCK32.dll."

this was the first error message, "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the application."

@Mevitar

The "Connect to CnC Net" tab appears, but nothing happens after the count-down. Even though "Gamemo.exe" appears in the Process section of Tab Manager.

I think something is wrong with my PC and not the game, but I'm not sure.

Where did you install the game? Somewhere on C, in your Program Files, or on a separate disk? Also, are you running the game on an account with administrator rights (or at least the .exe files are run in administrator mode)?

Try disabling your firewall if you have any active, and then run the game.
BTW, do you have .NET 2.0 installed?

You'll need to give more details about the crash than that. What is the crash message?

On a different disk does this have to do something with Origin

Try running in windowed mode. The launcher has a checkbox for that.

Try to run the game, then post the syringe.log file here.

Also check if you have Syringe.exe in the folder.
