Zephyrs. Are not. Anti structure.

Over. 150. Fucking. Zephyrs.

And why on Earth do they have a beacon, which could hardly be used against moving targets, if you must fill half of the map with them to destroy any structures? I guess they are only useful against masses of standing tanks - provided there is a hole in the center of the group where you can place the beacon.

Also, most, if not all Zephyrs could make two shots to the beacon before it disappears.

That's what's the cryo field is for, slowing opposing tanks down so the Zephyr Beacon can be used for maximum damage

Build 50 Zephyrs. That might take out some structures. :p

Over 150 Zephyrs firing via beacon.............can't destroy a conyard.

And sure, via normal attacks 15 of them is enough to wreck havoc on a base.

Because Zephyrs and the Zephyr beacon weren't designed for anti-structure purposes. For anti-structure use Hailstorms. Also ConYard is a very resistant structure in the base and don't even hope that you can take it out with Zephyrs + Zephyr Beacon.

Well, at the end I sucesfully taken it out, with "only" about 180 zephires. Now Imagine how mad I would be if the AI just built another MCV before the beacon reloads...rely, why doesn'T the AI replace lost conyards?

Isn't it pointless to produce 180 Zephyrs instead of few Hailstorms to take out a CY?

I dedicated that game to see how much Zephyrs I'd need to level a base from afar.

The AI does recreate the ConYard if it is lost and they don't have to follow the tech tree. :p

Well, I actualy seen the mental ai build a new mcv ONCE. I guess it's a low prority for them, but as soon as I take out its war factory, he is screwed :D

The AI seem to reconstruct the MCV often at lower difficulty in my experience. Odd indeed :p

Try meteor shower, they spam 3 MCVs from 3 WFs at the same time right after you destroy the thing.

Zephyrs. Are not. Anti structure.

They aren't? I use them to attack structures all the time, just a few of them can take out a base defense pretty quickly, few more is enough to take out any structure, just their limited range compared to the Hailstorm is why I don't use them for the whole match.

Most basic tanks had their own specifications:
Bulldog~Flashbangs
Kappa~Amphibious
Cavalier~Fires faster as long it's locked on a target
Rhino~Can be paradropped, jack of all trades
Jaguar~Releases pilot
Qilin~Upgrades near a Nuclear Reactor, 50% EMP reduction
Lasher~Autoloader
Opus~1 passenger slot
Mantis~Repairs all Mantis Tanks next to it on death

It's so strange that I write something here related to units and it's me who find these a bit strange, although I must ask these things whether they are possible in terms of balance and gameplay.

These are just my opinions.

1. Invaders should autoheal. Reason: When they disable for example an anti-air defense, they get damaged during the process and a single Invader costs relatively much.

2. Rahn should be able to destroy a part of a wall with 2-3 hits. Reason: I tested this and somehow I find this ridiculous. Also if Rahn would be able to destroy a part of the wall then it could help at infiltrating.

Why not give the Borillo for China & Russia a machine gun, and let the Confederation keep the flamethrower for their Borillo?

Also I think Pyros should be a bit better at clearing Garrisoned structures, then they can fill that role instead of the Borillo, like the Siege Cadre.

I think the Borillo's firepower against structures should be decreased, and it's speed should also be decreased.

Heya fellow proselytes! To the MO team, job well done with version 3.0! Love it really much! :D

Just a few things I'd like to get off my chest:

1. I've kinda mastered the Skirmish AI in the vanilla game (although I don't play with superweapons, so yea :p) but I find that MO's Easy AI is one hell of a whopper. I mean, it's just Easy AI. I know Normal and Mental are totally meant to kick some ass, but... well, I don't know. I guess there's a reason to why Easy AI is such. But would it be OK if you could tone it down just a wee bit? :thumbsupxd:

2. Saboteurs are kinda unfair, IMHO. They're the only spies who go boom when killed, hurting/killing the poor attack dogs who snagged him, and I feel it's a bit of a disadvantage. Any thoughts on that?

Hope to hear from you guys. And keep up the great work! :thumbsupcool:

1. I vote for removing "Easy AI" and use these names instead: "WUSSY", "DIFFICULE", "IMPOSSIBRU". At the very least, this clears some misconceptions about Easy. :p

If you really want an easier time, there is an option of giving yourself an AI ally.

2. IMO the Saboteur's greater hitpoints (150 vs 140 for the other two) and death weapon is to balance the lack of a transport that can sneak the spies to the back of the base (Borillo doesn't really count as sneaking).
