How about both?  :shiftee:

MO2.0 did showcase the MOD in three campaign sets. :p

But the campaigns in 2.0 were independent, though. :p

Why not both? And using some advanced coding magic, after you "won" with the Allies, when you start the Epsilon version, you would have to play against yourself, the AI "replaying" the way you played. I know that it's not possible at all, but it would be interesting if it was. :p

"Oh no, the device ran out of juice. Good thing there are so many oil barrels right next to it to solve that problem :D "
- Yuri (probably, if he isn't killed at the Kremlin)

I read something interesting on the website about the Lancer:

Fast and relentless, the Foehn Revolt's Lancer is a soldier who comes from one of two groups: some are survivors who believed that replacing their limbs with cybernetical copies will increase their chances of survival in the fight against those who pull the strings from the shadows, others are those who already faced their fated enemy and lost, but even when heavily damaged, refused to give up the fight. The Lancers will run straight towards enemy tank divisions and use their unique pressure lances to smash them into pieces.

The Lancer's weapon is also very effective against enemy structures, making early hit'n'run attacks with even small groups of these troops possible and quite effective against unsuspecting enemies. They can also garrison buildings and shoot from the inside. Their cybernetic nature makes Lancers immune to Dog and Spook bites, but vulnerable to EMP, so be cautious.

Edit: Could Yuri be collaborating with Reptoir?

If Epsilon are the big bads of MO, then Reptoir could be bigger bads.

Didn't this is discussed before that Reptoir will never happen?

Probably not

And that red lines just look like Epsilon tactics

I'm sure that Epsilon are actually the good guys protecting the planet from the greater evil of the Reptoir, but we won't notice that and defeat Yuri just as he manages to stab the planet with a giant Psychic Beacon that will make yellow crystals sprout from the ground and that will cause another faction war while Reptoir is preparing for takeover.

On the websites story page under the Foehn perspective is the following snippet:

"The true enemy is still hiding in the shadows. We should prepare for his arrival."

I haven't played WoW so I didn't get the reference. I thought you were saying Epsilon were proper good guys.

Apologies.

On second thought, it would be an interesting twist if Yuri was really doing this for the "good" of humanity. Like he knows about a bigger threat, but the only way to defeat it is to "unite" and "prepare" humanity. Unite it through mind control, and prepare through genetic modifications.

That'd be a cool idea. Lets hope the Covert Ops and finales of Act II link Twisted Insurrection with Mental Omega.
