I wonder if we will be able to control of the Allied heroes in the last Allied Act II mission?

I wonder how many triggers the last missions for each of the factions will have? I am really looking forward to playing those missions. ;D
oh btw, can we maybe get a super Irkalla aka my version of the Irkalla warship outfitted with railguns and anti-air lasers? xD

Irkalla can use its laser-type weaponry against air units.

All is quiet here on this post.....hopefully we will know more about what happens to the entire story line once the entirety of the Mental Omega mod comes out.

I kinda hope that the final missions of all sides will end in a sort of "text-only" cutscene explaining what happened after, because I doubt 4 lines on the victory screen is enough. Kinda like the Epilogues in Starcraft 1.

It's sure that the sort of set-up which will be needed for Act III could use something like that. How hard would it be to do?

Considering that I did a bik video like that for an old, unfinished Starcraft 1 fan-expansion mod that I did when I was 12, I would think it's not that difficult. I think I used MS Paint. :V
MO already got similar videos, like the Act titles, or the "cutscene" at the end of The Raven, as well.

So Morales is dead and Scorpion Cell forces are now under Epsilon control...now what?

Either a cutscene, or a epilogue 'mission'.

I'm on board with this.

Ra2 cinematics on Youtube seem to have alot of views. If there were cool cinematics made for Mental Omega and people knew where it was from, I guess that could lead to an even bigger spike in popularity for the mod.

We need greater skills, and greater internet download speeds for everyone, if Speeder is to think of this. CG is not made in a day.
Video and audio take up lots of space.

What he said. You know those AAA games that are like 50GB a piece? Most of those are really just pre-rendered cutscenes.
On the other hand, bik videos of mostly text over an image (maybe a few comic-like pictures showing the important bits like in Starcraft Remastered) and maybe a music track shouldn't be too much, both in size and amounts of work.

Is this why Dawn of War II has comic-type slideshows instead of full pre-rendered cutscenes? Because that game must be huge as-is.

... I think I coul have an idea about Hamartia. Remember, Epsilon still have this old Chronosphere they used to invade London. Maybe the fatal flaw is the fact the Allies assume they have complete supremacy thanks to time-space tech, and Yuri makes use of the old Chronosphere to chronoshift something to ruin their offensive. And the Allies seemingly don't know yet Yuri have this old Chronosphere, leaving room for one final miscalculation...

I think they would know. Godsend was not a covert ops
I think they don't. Bottleneck mentions 'unknwon means' for this attack, and I don't think infiltrating Epsilon is that easy. And I bet an ace like this Chronosphere would be held really close to the chest (and even behind the sternum if it was possible).
