Jesus, you're making a so big problem out of a minor change.

The cinema sequences just make the campaign stand out IMO - and anyone who's played the mission more than once knows it's going to end when the missile is launched (and can just abort the mission if they don't want to watch it again) - so I just view it as throwing the baby out with the bathwater. But to each their own.

How does new Stalin's Fist creation work? You build it - and place on the map - as a building, that you can pack up and relocate? Or it like the outpost-creation-units in C&C3 are: it just spawns next to CY? If it is the latter, how will it interact with walls?

 

Also, why does the allied infantry page lead you to believe that Siegfreid is not immune to dogs, when in-game he is? Did you run out of bullets to put this property of his up there, or is it just an oversight?

 

Would be nice to have this one fixed sometime.

I don't understand why you need an Allied Tech Centre to acquire Runways. Like; it's pavement. There's nothing technologically advanced about pavement, so why not; just have the Air Force Command HQ as the requisite alone?

Will the other factions get Runways as well? (Considering they, too, will get Air Force occupation structures)

 

I've also already stated (in the "MO/3.0 Feedback // BALANCING" forum) that I'm against the Nuclear Reactor becoming a T2 structure. My proposition for an alternative means for T2 power can be found HERE.

There's nothing technologically advanced about it, but it's such an advantage for the Allies that it can't be available right after the ACHQ. Gameplay reasons.

For super balans. Early Runways may or may not be OP. Be cautioned. :D

 

Somehow, the idea of making Runways available with US Dropbox Control (and the Allied Tech Center for all others subfactions) began prodding me. Seeing how Speeder utterly destroyed UprisingJC's Euro Alliance one match using Stormchildren (and destroyed the "US is weak" notion for a while), I think Runways should stick to T3 for now.

 

Besides, with the Black Widow annoycard, you might prefer building multiple ACHQs, won't you? :p

So in other words; other sides like the Soviets and Epsilon won't be getting Runways? Runways are exclusive to Allies?

If so; would it still be a problem if that wasn't the case, as in; everyone could build Runways? (Soviet Runways, Epsilon Runways. . . "Side 4" Runways?)

Jets are easy to counter (Cheap Anti-Air Infantry), though + They're expensive (Imo). :/ It's more beneficial to buy Miners + MBTs (+ Cheap Anti Air Infantry if you're up against Jets) early game.

Hmm. If you have multiple "Drop Control upgrades" (1 per "x" amount of ACHQs), then will its support powers ("Airborne" and "Bloodhonds") load quicker?

No.

Having more Airfields also boosts the jet production speed tho. In longer term building Airfields give you more advantage.

In the "Panic Circle"'s playthrough I noticed new power called "Black Widow". I can't find anything about it in the the changelog (same with the Dust Devil unit, the cameo of which appeared earlier in playthroughs). Based on the cameo, I'd say it is either something like a bombing run offensive power, or a reinforcement power that summons a unit onto the battlefield.

 

What is that exactly, if it is not a secret? Also, is that a mission-specific power, or will we see it somewhere else?

Did the Soviet Radar got cut? I saw Soviet Airfields rather than Soviet Radars in Speeder's playthrough.

Yes. The Soviet Radar was replaced by the Field Bureau and the Airfield. The Airfield gives radar, while the Field Bureau gives the tech that usually came with Radar, from what I got.

Isn't the Field Bureau originally a prison ???

 

Also what I saw from Speeder's Panic Cycle playthrough I was Soviet Psychic Sensors rather than Soviet Sensor Towers.

Yes, the Field Bureau was seemingly converted from that prison building announced to be added way earlier.

 

As for the psychic sensors, I think those buildings are just nods toward vanilla RA2, and how during this time, Yuri's psychic technology still served the soviets. The same why the soviets also had the cloning vats buildings.

Any update on the proposed Beta Revision 2 changes? Also is there a latest closed beta available to try out? It's been over two years without a new release of MO 3.0 and that is very disappointing, more disappointing than a public beta version of Renegade-X and even Twisted Insurrection that has continuous closed beta updates. I noticed a huge changlog for Beta R2 with tons of changes, but I wonder why as of now nothing seems to be getting released, all but continuing to create new maps and missions. At least MO is still just a mod.

 

I am just being honest though. :dry:
