The cool, huge and incredible mod like "Darkness Within" is definitely worth to be a selling as a separate game. It changes the DoW gameplay like no one mod made before. But it will require financial injections and resources, for example, in order to make a full-fledged voice acting.

Another man spoiler
The 13th is trapped in the network of portals. But Magnus did release a lot of wulfens in the events of Curse of the Wulfen. So we know where are the unaccounted of the 13th. Bulveye exits from the portals because Njal tells him that he will be reunitad with his brothers from the 13th. But he hasn't tell him yet that they were transformed in wulfens
The SW30k look oddly at the SW 40k. They are surprised because they are a bit religious with their armor. There is also a rivalry between the two forces. There is one in particular between Arjac and Vigga Deathblow, the first champion of Russ.
But the SW30k are also in shock when they learn of the treachery of Horus, the death of the Emperor and when they realise that they have been manipulated to destroy the TS.
TS sorcerer involved is Izzakar Orr.
But in the book, the Stormbird of Bulveye is described. Its name is "Clawrend". There are also two thunderhawks, one spartan and there are tanks larger than the usual that the SW40k don't recognize. At a time, they even speak of a Mastodon. So it's not impossible that there is one in. and of course some dreadnoughts and Terminators
For the survivors, they have been trapped for something like 2 weeks or one month in the network of portals.
The TS sorcerer which has send a shard of its psyche into Njal is Issakar Orr. He is horrifed of what has become of the TS Legion. When the SW first arrive in front of the first portal on Prospero, they are confronted by a force of 200 TS 30k who want to exit.
The SW of Njal are completely outnumbered. But when the TS set foot in the real world, tey become dust.
At the end, the sorcerer and the SW make peace because they realised that they've been tricked. Issakar Orr closes the last portal to give time to the SW to evacuate the planet because magnus is behind them. He then returns in the portals, resolved to fight against his primarch and what he has become. I believe that we'll see this sorcerer in a next book or the future campaign.
The Primaris with the SW geneseed have joined the chapter. But Logan is careful with them because he doesn't know if they're stronger or weaker against the Curse of the Wulfen.
The wulfens who have been freed from the network of portals. It was certainly made by Magnus who wanted to put the SW under investigation by the Grey Knights and the Inquisition.
Yes, Iskaar is resurrected and hunting in the network of portals to find other of his brethren unaffected by the Cancelling. he is resolved to oppose his Primarch by any mean.

There were early sales of the book "Ahses of Prospero" , on the last Weekender.
So, what witness said:
But if you're waiting for Ashes of Prospero to give you some hints, you're mistaken. I was lucky enough to have a friend of mine at the black library weekender and he brought me back Ashes of Prospero.
I read it and there are quite a few new things for the Space Wolves fluffwise but we can expect also some changes for the codex and maybe for the Imperium at large.
I'm going to spoil the content of the book, so, if you don't want to, do not read my message.
This book follows the events described in Inferno and the audio book "The Thirteenth Wolf"
This book takes place after the Crusade Indomitus. The Space Wolves are hard pressed to answer to all the calls of help and assistance that they received. Logan asks Njal to do some divinations in the hope to find Leman Russ. Njal doesn't find anything but he's drawn to Prospero.
Logan decides to send a little force of Space Wolves to Prospero under Njal's command. After some skirmishes on Prospero against the cultists of Magnus and then in the network of portals, the SW of Njal find the survivors of the XIII Great Company trapped in the network of portals. In the meantime, Njal discovers the reason why Magnus has returned to Prospero : he plans to use the network of portals to rid the daemons of the necessity of a warp rift to appear in the real world. he would have an infinite army and also more powerful.
After some exchange of greetings, reconnaissance of their brothers and negociations, the survivors of the XIIIth, follow the SW of Njal out of the network.
There are 200 survivors with their 30k arsenal : Stormbird, thunderhawk, spartans, predators... with their Wolf lord Bulveye at the head.
Njal orders its cruiser to bombard Prospero. And the book ends like this.
So for me,we have a lot of things fluff wise :
- The SW will be the only chapter to have real marines 30k with them.
- They will have a strange mix of SW 40k, SW 30k and Primaris.
- Who is going to lead the chapter : Logan or Bulveye?
- there are some clashs in the book when the marines 30k discover the Horus heresy, and the way of their brethren of 40k compared to the Imperial truth of 30k.
I think that we'll have a summer campaign opposing the SW against the TS for the control of these portals. Even if it's, or because maybe, a revenge for the events of Curse of the Wulfen and Wrath of Magnus.
It's the perfect occasion to bring back Leman Russ after the rediscovery of his 13th Company which we know, he has a particular bond with them.
And for us, players, we will be perfectly free to use our 40k and 30k models in our future army. Just imagine access to Cataphractiis, tartaros, Stormbirds, Spartans...
So, what do you think of all this?

Finally, Dark40k is here! That's great. I had so much... "notices" about FFE's "not-as-expected-work", long ago, in times of doing this.
Maybe next time

Saved here for a future reference, if somebody will desire to make DA 30K faction (Horus Heresy times)
--------------------------
It said: Thorpe was at this time greatly helped Alan Bligh. The book - is a warming up before the HH-FW-8.
--------------------------
First Legion origins:
- The first Legion was the prototype legion, ready before any other legions were created, and fought extensively in the unification wars.
- At the start they were not referred to as a legion, or even as space marines. The Emperor called them his Angels of Death and that was it, until other legions started being produced. He lead them personally.
- They were organised in six hosts, collectively known as the hexagrammatron. Each host was a specific type of force for specific combat situations. they were made this way so they could fight in any conceivable situation, unlike some of the more specialised legion that came later.
- A battle force would be formed from parts of each host. It would be commanded by an officer from the host that had the largest percentage of the force.
- The original Angels of Death marines all had a form of psychic protection that was put into their minds by the Emperor himself, so they were able to face the dangerous psykers on Terra during the unification wars. The emperor did not do this for later batches of marine for the first and subsequent legions, because the effort to do so was too taxing on him with such numbers.
Dark Angels 30K organisation:
- By the late Crusade, start of the heresy, the Dark Angels have a relatively standard organisation. The Legion breaks down into Orders, which break down into Chapters, which break down into Companies. Not sure how many Chapters to an Order (the highest numbered Order in the book is the 31st). Presumably a chapter is 1000 full strength, and a company around 100.
- They do, however, also have the 6 wings, which run through the standard organisation. Each dark angel belongs to one of the wings, as well as their normal Order/Chapter/Company. They are the Deathwing, Dreadwing, Ravewing, Ironwing, Stormwing and Firewing. Each one is a specific warfare specialisation, which conforms to the original Six Host formation of the first legion. The names of the Wings are Calibanite in origin however, the names of the original hosts are unknown.
- Each wing is commanded by an officer known as a Voted-Lieutenant. They are outside of the normal legion command structure. He has several Voted-Successors.
- In battle, if a situation is encountered which would benefit from the specialised skills of one of the wings is, the Dark Angel officer in command may request the activation of the the specific wing, and pass over command to the voted-lieutenant.
- The voted lieutenant will then call to him all of the members of his company in the warzone. The will detach form their Orders/Chapters/Companies and join together and do their thing. When the situation is resolved, the voted-lieutenant will relinquish command and the units will return to their formations.
- The Deathwing are terminator veterans. The are led by Holguin.
- The Dreadwing are an annihilation/scorched earth force, which uses copious amounts of phosphex, rad weapons, defoliation weapons and void/warp rift weapons, alongside conventional weapons. Its not confirmed in the book, but i suspect all Dark Angels Destroyers are Dreading. They really do not mess about, marching into battle chanting We have come, We are Death. They are led by Farith Redloss, who takes out a World Eaters Leviathan Dreadnaugth with his axe.
- Nothing really on the Ravenwing and Ironwing in the book, but we can easily guess what they specialise in!
- No further info on the Stormwing.
- The Firewing were, until recently, led by a marine named Griffayn 'The Spear-Cast'. For some reason, at the point in the story, his rank has been suspended and he has been demoted to Sergeant-at-Arms rank. No further info on the fire wing.
Unique Dark Angels Equipment:
- Holguin of the Deathwing has a personal Land Raider that has no tracks. It is held aloft by a grav field and can move very fast.
- The Dark Angels have the Stormstrike Interceptor aircraft, described as shaped like a dagger.
- They have a unique type of Superheavy vehicle, the Portcullis mono-track. It bears large energy shield generators.
- A Glaive superheavy variant, that is Dreadwing specific. It replaces the Volkite cannon with a warp rift cannon eek.gif
- Dreadwing Vindicators that can fire Void-tipped shells.
- A superheavy tank called a Dreadhammer, which fires void shells
- Spaceships with warp rift cannons! There is one in the novel, the Intolerant, supporting the Dreadwing attack from orbit. It deploys vanes which spark with lightning, that fire a massive warp rift sphere. No info is give on what type or class of ship the Intolerant is.
Merir Astelan:
- Events in this novel add further confirmation to the fact he is lying to Boreas in Angels of Darkness.
- He is one of the original Angels of Death first marines. He has the special psyhic protection put in his head by the Emperor. This explains why in the 40k stories he is in, the Dark Angel Librarians are unable to read him.
- One of the lion loyalist Dark Angels imprisoned in the aldurkh jail, Chaper Master Tukon, is also and original Angels of Death marine.

No real burden here, because those 2 modules have no shared files to load it double. So basically is two modules per faction then? Wouldn't will be a burden to the engine to load the double of modules although the content it's the same in size? Just asking, no idea.

Team Thudmeizer proudly presents the Blood Angels Modification for Dawn of War: Soulstorm!
http://www.moddb.com/mods/stevocarty
The Sons of Baal, The Blood Angels, were the IX Legion of the original Space Marine Legions under their Primarch Sanguinius. They are particularly well known for their bloodthirsty nature in battle.
The gene-seed of the Blood Angels (and its successors) is still capable of producing all nineteen organ implants that facilitate the transformation of a normal man into a Space Marine. It also has the unique quirk of vastly extending the lifespan of the Space Marines of the gene-line, and it is not unknown for a Blood Angel to live more than a millennium. The gene-line, however, is also affected by a dreadful flaw, which makes its brethren susceptible to the Black Rage and the Red Thirst.
The Red Thirst causes warriors to suffer an unusual bloodlust, instilling them with a thirst for the blood of their enemies. The Red Thirst is so overwhelming that the Blood Angels forget their noble heritage and completely lose control over themselves. It is not unheard of that Blood Angels squads abandon advantageous positions to engage the enemy in hand-to-hand combat. More often than not, these assaults turn out to be so devastating that unprepared enemy forces are simply swept away.
When a Space Marine is overcome by the Black Rage he is reborn in a world of anger, hatred, fury and nothing else. As well as Sanguinius’s memories, the Blood Angel is touched with a small portion of his unearthly power, boosting his strength and vitality to superhuman levels.
Rather than face a slow, insane death, Blood Angels will form those who have newly succumbed to the Black Rage into a special unit known as the Death Company. They paint their armour black, daubed with red crosses, signifying the wounds of Sanguinius, and are usually led by the few Chapter officers, notably Chaplains, who are able to communicate orders to these lost warriors. They are then sent out to perform the most dangerous assaults, hoping for a quick and honourable death in combat.
This mod was first announced back on the 11th November 2004 - and it's fair to say that any mod that spans this period of time has hit difficulties and this mod has fallen inactive at least twice, if not more. The old team are gone, but Team Thudmeizer got permission to continue, however our OE assistance had a crippling HDD failure and so there are clear graphical issues (Morah, Death company, other units missing animations and forcing their utility.)
This Mod has two branching tech trees featuring the Might and Wings of Sanguinius along with the famous Heroes of the 3rd Company and a twist on the familiar SM playstyle - your units are very powerful in melee, but also bezerk so use caution!
I may add pictures to this post later, but forgive me friends as it's late and I'm only awake to get the mod finally onto the interweb!

Land Raider Achilles-Alpha
http://www.moddb.com...ogress#imagebox
The Achilles-Alpha Pattern Land Raider was the first prototype of the Land Raider Achilles, more powerful and durable than any tank of their class yet created.
This variant was constructed using specially Enhanced Ferromantic Rites, so the hull is able to resist even the most determined assault and is almost preternaturally resilient.
It is armed with one hull-mounted Quad Mortar with frag and shatter shells and two sponson-mounted twin-linked Volkite Culverins.
