As a fellow person who has too much time to think on video game realities, I think this 4th faction is the secret taskforce the allies made in RA1 hence explaining their usage of allied weaponry. It is quite possible they have had enough of everyone's crap, and has decided now is the time to emerge!

Speeder said in a recent tweet the flags of the subfactions themselves represent something crucial to the subfaction. I've been trying to crack the code since. What do the subfaction flags look like to you guys? 

 

"Wings of Coronia," with their flag and name, is probably an air superiority subfaction. Last Bastion is... defensive?

Last Bastion's flag looks like an mega laser energy blast to me. Not sure if defensive or not, but I think it might be an artillery faction.

Well from what I expect Fourth Faction will have a Charge-Up Tank in their roster probably.

 

Seeing how most of the miner niches are already in and I'm guessing they'll be the new Multi-Role Faction I expect maybe their Miners being Repair/Support Units.

It is almost a rule that Side 4 needs a female hero. And it will definitely be one of the anime girl archetypes. I'm sure it will be a tsundere. :V

Smurfette principle it is called. However I believe that the female hero will be a consummate professional who is rational and sane instead of the dysfunction junction of Libra, Yunru and Tanya.

Seems to be a trend anyway for MO to include at least 1 female hero. Just throwing this out the window but I can imagine them having some heroes borrowing ideas from Kill La Kill albe it more high techy...

Teleporting GFX are limited to 1 set... so it'll more like they're using Chrono Tech.

I think a teleporting hero would be too hard to balance, if it can be balanced. Plus teleporting IS chrono tech, and the allies already own that. We don't know where side 4 comes from, though, so maybe limited chrono tech is still in the air.

What Tsundere hero. It must be Rikka. Or maybe she was a non-military leader, coming up with the best names.

 

Dark Flame Master, level 7 mage, is probably in the Epsilon though, preparing to be humiliated by the names that will be coming up.
