Hi guys,
First of all, thank you very much for doing this, I had these games a long time ago but I gave up trying to make it work... until now!
So, I installed BfME2 following your instructions (I have a laptop with Windows10) but it is still not working:
This loading screen pops and lasts until an error message says that bfme has stopped working OR, less commonly, the loading screen closes and there is no CPU activity dedicated (no evolution for the following 15min). Same results if bfme is launched as an administrator or with the graphic CPU (NVidia GeForce 840M).
I tried both methods: the game.dat and the mini-image mounted to SCSI (with Daemon tools lite 10.7, I couldn't figure out how to mount to SCSI with alcohol 52 or wincdemu), same results.
I also did the option.ini stuff, here are the screenshots of the folder and file (tell me if I did something wrong), it didn't help but I let it anyway.
Thank you for your help
PS: I hope my English is understandable, I'm still working on it!

Follow all the instructions for your game. Make sure you replace the game.dat file.

I have BFME2 installed and patched to 1.09, but when I try to install ROTWK I get an error message "you must have a copy of the battle for middle-earth ii installed" BFME2 is definitely installed, I can play it just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello everyone, i got some problems playing online through this and questions:
1. i installed lotrbfme2+patch and T3A launcher and when i open the game through that launcher and go online it asks me to login in EA games account. Somehow i couldn't register in EA and my revora username and password are invalid for those fields. What did i miss here?
2. Bfme1 from this post has a game.dat file elsewhere (i don't see something here)?
3.Installing bfme1 from this link, i get an error that a file Support/sv/lasmig+sth couldn't be transfered and the installation stopped in about 60+% I found somewhere that changing the destination file could solve it but it didn't work. Any suggestions?
4. The bfme2 expansion trowk mini images at step 6 have to be used after installing the game and the patch? They work only with the specific version of daemon tools from the link earlier? (the daemon tools i have currently worked fine for everything else so far, mounted they images on BD-rom drive but didn't appear a choice of auto-run, the auto-run.exe inside the file doesn't work and the game won't start). Is there a game.dat i file that i missed somewhere to make it work without these?
Thanks in advance

1. There's a guide on t3aonline.net
2. Just install all patches with the all in one patch installer and you're good to go
3. Redownload the bfme1 file
4. Don't use the mini images but the new game.dat, it's linked in the lates 2.02 patch page.

1. You mean the slides here in the following link? https://t3aonline.net/setup/ I' ve done the steps of these slides but at the last step it asks me EA account instead of revora. Could it be related to computer firewall or sth? I think after installation a message poped out to make it exception and i pressed yes.
3. Thank you, started, let's see now.
4.Here? https://www.gamerepl...2-download-page or here https://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=1006906 somewhere? I didn't find something. I didn't understand sth correctly? The patch 2.02 does the trick?

I'm not sure where the rotwk game.dat is, it comes with the patch, or maybe as a separate download on the patch page.

Just use your t3a server account as the ea login.

Oh, it worked finally, now i get what happened. I used the password i have to log in in T3A page and here, while my server password is different. Thank you!

The patch 2.02 worked fine, without game.dat, if someone stays to patch 2.01 will need game.dat and i don't think there is 1 there

There might, but yeah I think 2.02 includes the game.dat by now.

Hi, I'm sorry to repost my own comment but I think it just went unnoticed, so there it is!
Thank you for your help
PS: the original post is the third of page 21 if you need it for the pictures

You saved the file as options.ini.txt instead of options.ini, that's why it is not working. Change to extension to only contain '.ini'
