Bump, i cant seem to finish Ghost Hunt with the Crash

Hi MrBlack, I would need the file except.txt which is mentioned at the end of the debug.log. It contains needed information about the crash.

HI speeder, i have installed RA + Yuri with already patched to 1001 ( i install them in windows 7 virtual)
I have issue when start the MentalOmegaClient

 Hi Speeder,

 

I played the game with my friend in LAN. At first I couldn't see him in LAN while he could see me. Then I created a game and he joined. Game started. After playing for a while, the game crashed and reported a desync.

 

The OS of my computer is Windows 10 build 16299 64bit(Fall Creator Update) and his is Windows 10 build 14393 64bit(Redstone). 

 

Help me... :sad2:

Version 3.3.2   Challenge Easy Mode

I got the game at 心灵终结吧(at Baidu Tieba, a sort of forum like here) in China. (I'm from China.)

And my friend copy the game from my computer.

Is the MO 3.3 downloaded from the site? I heard rumors of some bogus installation which includes illegitimate RulesMO.ini

 

Yes, from the moddb. I've been using the same zip file to install it every time, perhaps there's something wrong with my copy, d'oh. I'll re-download to see if that fixes it.

 

Edit: Tried re-downloading and re-installing (from moddb, patched thru client). No-go. Still getting modified files warning. Also my game freezes in SP and in MP, music and sounds continue to play but my game doesn't respond and I have to shut it down via Task manager.

 

Few more details:

Firewalls checked and fine.

Different servers tried in game creation.

Multiple hard-drives tried, same result.

PC meets minimum sys reqs.

hey guys, i'm having an issue where i try to start skirmish and it gives me this, error launching syringe, please check that your anti virus isnt blocking cncnet client, unable to participate in this match, even though i'm doing offline, i believe, returned error, the requested operation requires elevation.

Good Day. I have,,, well, not really a problem. Everything works fine. Started. No bugs. But, when I launch the Client and choose skirmish or campaign, I press start aaand.. wait.. Wait about 3-4 minutes until the game starts. Qustion: is this normal or not?

I installed the mod on the original version from the origin. Install on the re-pack from r.g. mechnicans - all work great. No bugs or errors. But i always wait 3-4 min.. client just write me - "game is in a progress". and i wait, always.. Is this a problem or is it the way it should be?

I think the origin one is already on the correct version

 

The safer (and usually the one that works most properly) way to install the mod is by copying the mod in a different folder than RA2, as if it was a separate game, and then copy these files from your RA2 folder to your newly created MO folder :

 

gamemd.exe (must be 1.001, usually the one from Origin is)

BINKW32.DLL

Blowfish.dll

ra2.mix

ra2md.mix

langmd.mix

language.mix

PS : There might be more, but I'm having trouble with opening the website, refer to the link above for the most authentic list

Hi! I've just installed Yuri's Revenge and MO 3.3 on a fresh, clean XP SP3 machine.
YR and RA2 work fine, but MO crashes whenever trying to launch the game.
 
System specs:
XP SP3, 2GB RAM, Dual-core Celeron, and a Radeon HD 4650
GFX Drivers up-to date
DirectX version: 9.0c
 
Not sure if it matters, but the machine is completely disconnected from the internet.
 
Tried all renderers, these logs are from a run with TS-DDRAW

When i enter skirmish,campaign,multiplayer or LAN it will be an error message for the syringe: "Could not load executable, The system could not find the file specified". Can you please tell me how to fix it.

You're missing gamemd.exe. Did you download your YR from XWIS? If so, I'd recommend you to slowly read mentalomega.com/install
