No, 1.0.1.1 in properties is actually 1.001. I think Westwood just messed up on that one

Clean installed ra2 from origin and it's still not working; tried a cracked version and it was pretty spotty too (as in I had same files as host, someone else didn't but the game started and they could play instead of crashing). When I try hosting it crashes as usual, but the host may or may not crash if I'm in their game. At this point I don't know what's wrong

any help would be appreciated.

also running it in admin mode doesn't do anything different either

Hey guys, I'm trying to record Mental Omega APYR using OBS and after a bit of screwing around with the OBS software itself I got it recording the game. the issue is that, I play the game at 1280x720 despite my screen being 1920x1080. My reason for this is that no matter what renderer I use, the game simply crashes. Has anyone got a fix?

the game crashes because you're recording ? or because of the resolution settings ?

Hey guys I had encountered a bug while playing skirmish fortress game today

My MCV refuse to let me build anything from main structure tab after I canceled building a war factory EVA keep saying "unable to comply building in progress" every time I try to despite having nothing in building queue at all

leaving my base stark naked to be rushed :(

This problem is fixed afterward by selling my Allied starting MCV and capturing a Foehn MCV which worked normally

Here a link to my video on google drive since its 100 MB and I can't attach it here

I'm trying to run Mental Omega version 3.3.3 on Windows 10 and I cannot get a skirmish match to start.

TheOneMatthias' crash is the one known as VideoBackBuffer crash. (It's not related to that setting, but the address comes up in the stack.) This crash is in cncnet5.dll, I can't do much about it.

I was first experiencing the VideoBackBuffer crash. I removed the cncnet5.dll DLL, as suggested:

TheOneMatthias try to delete cncnet5.dll it should work but you won't have a way to play online only lan.

Now I am receiving a different crash when attempting to launch skirmish.

If you removed the cncnet5.dll and still got crashes, then this must be something else. Can you upload syringe.log after a failed attempt to launch a skirmish game?

Here are the details. Can someone help?

[22:47:34] SyringeDebugger::HandleException: Exception (Code: 0xC0000005 at 0x0072ED05)!

syringe.log:

I can make the crash dump available if that would help. Thanks!

That's a crash that stems from the absence of the CnCNet5.dll.
Removing the dll wasn't meant as a solution for this crash, but merely as an indication that the issue is with the CnCNet5.dll. If it is present, it crashes "earlier" than without it. That indicates that the first crash is due to the dll.
Afaik, there still is no solution.

Got it, thanks! Any idea who we would be able to follow up with about the CnCNet5.dll crash? Should I post on the CnCNet forums?

Is there any way to play the Mental Omega mod without the CnCNet parts?

So i've been reading this topic in order to solve my problem and i couldn't find anything usefull, therefore i'm going to ask for you help here.

I have installed MO 3.3 correctly, the launcher works fine but when i try to launch a skirmish game or campaign it just goes back into the launcher, i can't really explain too good, it does nothing basicly.

I've done everything down below ( in the quote ) still dosen't work, everything is set to "run as administrator" or compatibility.

So if you'd like to help me please do so.
Any suggestions are very much welcomed, thanks.

NOTE1: I'm using windows 10.

NOTE2: The C&C version is 1.001

NOTE3: I tried restart, reinstall all that jazz, dosen't work

Spoiler

And this is the syringe.log after i try to launch a game or a campaign mission

Spoiler

Thank you in advance.

I'm running win10 and lately I've been getting fatal errors every time a group of players and I want to play on the map DEFCON Six. I've restarted my computer multiple times and this error still occurs. I've been able to play on the map before, so why is this suddenly happening? I thought restarting my computer fixed the issue previous times this has happened, but it's been more consistently giving me a fatal error despite me restarting.

Upload the file except.txt after the game crashed (or if you have one in the \debug\ folder of a previous crash. That might help.
