The foehn forces that fled after Blood Rage came in Nobody Home, I think, so I don't think first idea makes that much sense, considering evaccing Yunru is their top priority

Also, Yuri freely using Chronosphere doesn't make much sense. The one they have is an old version that could only transport a few and from how Unthinkable turned out, it also took an explicitly long time. Meanwhile, the only other Chronosphere is the Paradox Engine. There are no other Chronospheres other than the two

Perhaps its an event that is happening simultaneously instead? I am certaij there were a couple cells in China that may or may not have made it qoth the main force and are isolated?

I do wonder if Dragonstorm's Xiu Rong Wu (the Chinese general) will ever make a return someday, as he's not mentioned elsewhere in Act 2. Saddening to see a general leading an invasion force just disappear like that.

Now if only Xiu Rong Wu's voice (general Fai) was used for the Chinese Taunts, instead of Libya.

According to Sandman's behind-the-scenes posted in Chinese forum, General Wu was supposed to appear in Power Hunger, but his appearance was finally removed due to the bad AI performing in 3.3.2 map version. TBH, I hope he'll return in this mission (and sacrifice) someday.

I mean, I always thought Epsilon assassinated him between acts 1 and 2 (Like Taciturn) before he could rally another army to attack Russia (Considering his batshit-crazy dialogue during Dragonstorm, I could buy him being insane enough to not give a shit about the threat of the MIDAS that Russia supposedly had).

I saw a comment on Speeders (or Martinozs) youtube video doing a playthrough of Epsilon 14 (brute mission).

A good addition to that mission, in order to make it challenging (its way too easy, and i do understand that not every mission has to be hard) and alot more fun, the Latin Confederation should immediately construct a nuclear silo in order to counter the brutes by destroying the Cloning Vats, the player has to destroy the silo before it fires

Guys, this is what happens when lovalmidas makes a manageable mission. :p

Nuclear Silo in this mission is a dream and unexplainable.

And guys, you can feel free to imagine how does the new Money Source look like. It will be the heaviest changed mission in the next patch, along with a few other missions.  :evilthinkin:

Two questions regarding Archetype

Why didn't Morales and Boris recognize Yuri's soldiers? Why don't the Allies have access to Terror Drones (really helps since Soviets and Epsilon outnumber them) in their campaign?

Too damn dark

The terror drone in Archetype was probably one of a kind, and the Soviet stole the schematic in the same place they recovered Volkov/Chitzkoi. Of course they might be able to salvage their one-of-a-kind drone but

  1. If that was true, they could've done the same later when they do encounter the completed drones in the hands of the Soviet, and that would've applied to more than just drones.
  2. Yuri probably screwed them over just like he always does throughout MO storyline

I have to say, it isn't unusual for the Soviets to hold the idiot ball from time to time (both in the games and Real Life) but the three Act 2 missions after Juggernaut really just killed my enthusiam for the Soviets. I am glad that Yuri and the Soviets will kill each other because these Red-idiots deserve it

Why in reason's name didn't Russia and the Latin Confederation simply asked/demanded China share the Cyborgs and the technology to make them!?! (Conqueror states that Russia+LC did defeat China before Yuri killed Romanov)

-Upgraded Morales leading Legions of Cyborgs in an earlier invasion of Sweden, Luna and Russia would have changed things

-Soviets join Allies in invading Antartica, fully destroying Mental Omega, killing Yuri and preventing the Paradox Engine from being destroyed (Yuri is in Russia as bait so that the Soviets won't screw up Libra and Mental Omega)

On a similar note, regarding Cloning Technology:

-Why didn't the Allies attempt to steal Cloning Vats and make more of their own? (Only Foehn has less manpower than them at the start of Act 2)

-Why didn't the Latin Confederation reverse-engineer its Cloning Vats and share the tech with the Russians?

-Why doesn't Foehn have Cloning Vats when Scorpion Cell defected to them?

Other things:

-Soviet Commander should have made peace with American Rebels after Awake and Alive

-In Foehn Mission 2, the destruction of the Psychic Beacon should have the Chinese troops freed from mind-control join Yunru

-Foehn should have attempted to recruit the ROC rebels to their cause as well as the two Koreas and American rebels. Heck, maybe the Soviet Resistance in North America as well

Could use some clarification regarding 2 Epsilon technology matters:

1. Psychic illusions technology - The Shadow Tank's lore mentions "unfinished Allied stealth technology", does this mean this applies to only the Shadow Tank or the entire psychic illusions tech arsenal?

In other words, is psychic illusions tech partially based from Allied stealth tech?

2. Terminus and Terranova - It is known that these 2 terms both involve genetic mutation. The Rage Inductor's lore mentions that Terminus has different "strains", while Terranova, according to Huehuecoyotl briefing,  is called as a virus.

Aside from their "Brutation" effect, how are these 2 related? Is Terranova a strain of Terminus or is it the other way around?

1. Yes. Yuri would have stolen Allied technology around Act 1 and Mirage tanks were deployed in Act 1, so the "stealth" tech might have a next evolution of mirage technology that didn't get finished when the Soviets won.

2. Terminus is basically hormones, chemicals & steroids. Terranova is a virus. The two have no apparent relationship to one another. Brutation is caused by Terranova. Terminus is used as a steroid and mind-affect drug for Epsilon troops without causing brutification. The now-removed Epsilon Deviator unit used to spray units with a raw, unfiltered Terminus causing insanity among enemy units.

- Russia doesn't trust China because the Chinese secretly took control of several Kanegawa labs, presumably to steal PF technology to gain an advantage over the Russians. When Russia finds out there's ANOTHER secret Chinese research base operated by proto-Foehn, RIGHT AFTER the Chinese sign a peace treaty, they assume the worst and think the Chinese are trying to get a tech advantage again.

- The Soviets and Allies aren't aware of each other in Act 2. Plus, the Soviets kicked the Allies' asses and the Allies are probably still mad at that. An alliance is unlikely.

- Yuri has been shown to be very secretive with his technology. Somehow, he snuck in remote detonation devices on PsiCorps buildings like the Cloning Vats and Psychic Sensor (why didn't anyone question that?). In Dragonstorm he wipes out all blueprints for PsiCorps technology from the Russian databases and remote detonates any PsiCorps buildings that are already built. It's unlikely that any of the factions could access Yuri's technology.

- Don't know about LC not reverse-engineering the technology.

- The Chinese wouldn't have joined Yunru because Yunru is technically a traitor at this point. The Soviet side doesn't seem to be aware of the Mental Omega device, so to them, the most important goal is taking back their homelands. Therefore, they expect that Yunru develops technology for the Chinese army solely to defend China. Instead, Yunru runs off to Alaska. The Chinese army that gets freed from mind control probably assumes Yunru is a traitor and decides to attack her.

- I think Foehn would recruit more rebels...but it seems like they're running out of time and the Mental Omega Device will activate at Act 2's finale.

Yeah. Yuri is pretty smart enough that either Soviet or Allies will attempt to use his tech. He made plans to ensure that the soviets won't figure his "plan" and making sure that both Allies and Soviets are separate.

The proto-foehn at some point are trying to get as many people as possible as they fled northwards. Since they cannot escape to space (wasn't the Lunar Base empty or something)

Some hot topics I sorted about the lore:

1. Where do the Super Apocalypses go after Mad Monster?

2. Where do the large amount of Soviet forces come from in Dawnbreaker and Brothers in Arms? (the two questions are very hot in other forums as I observed)

3. How do you think of relationships and function differences about Psychic Beacon, Psychic Amplifier and the future M. O .Device?

4. How to think of relationship and status changes in large amount of Pacific Front parties (loyalists, Japanese traitors, other member countries & oversea small forces and Yunru's friends)?

Why hasn't Yunru recruited the American Rebels, European Rebels or the ROC rebels in China?

Why doesn't Scorpion Cell and later Foehn (When SC joins them) have access to Cloning technology?

1. ROC is probably linked with Yunru as members of Foehn. American rebels will probably meet with Foehn in next Foehn missions, but Europeans? Foehn doesn't have any way to find them, they're not humanoid Drillers.

2. Because Rashidi and Yunru hate it.
