I won it with PF and Russia, wolf and blizzard spam all day, you can also take out the salamanders on the way with Norio since they don't deal that much dmg to him

In the meanwhile, I am the reason for which Speeder will increase drasticly difficulty of Challenge maps.

Noise Severe: Interesting escort mission with beacon at the end. Only cheap thing is that at the start you are almost certainly losing the first Drakuv, because our resident cyborgs are not fast enough to reach the tanks. Interesting trick with the colours. Gave me paranoia.
Heartwork: A great limited taskforce mission with story implications, the return of the colonels, Chinese units, godly Buratinos and changing weather. Played it on both easy and normal. It has become one of my favourites of Act 2.
Lizard Brain: This is an odd mission. You are constantly outnumbered and outgunned by the Europeans. There are snipers and mirages everywhere. Rashidi has been working a lot the last two years for Epsilon and especially the not named Epsi HQ. Brute spam is the answer to reach the tunnel. Have not captured the other epsi buildings. You do not really have the time for it, because the allies keep coming. This mission has rng, I think. One try the Colossus got sniped by jets, an other time the beacon and main outpost got attacked by thors. And even one time a Prism appeared to destroy the Beacon.
Dance of Blood: Another favourite of Act 2 of mine. Did it on all difficulties. It is a great mission. It looks great, the location is iconic and the music is amazing. Only some questions: Why have the AI build an Iron Curtain, if it is not going to use it? Would it not be better to get the shipyard during the defense, so there can be more Epsilon naval combat? Can there be more Kirovs added if you would have piranhas during the defense? With Mind Control you can cover your base and the Landing Zone pretty good. I am probably going to see if it can be done without it. I do not know if I will succeed, because at mental I looked away one sec and two or three Armadillos almost reached the Zone, because there were not enough Elites at the moment. Those were my thoughts.
PS: Does the Engine have its own Chronosphere? There has been a lot of chronoshifting in Act 2 lately.

The super ivan and the fact that I have to hurry finally took the toll on me. So I improvised a bit...
After that, I just take my time to clear the path with Volkov, Chitzkoi, and Tigr... including that bullshit ivan. Had Volkov destroy the suspicious house on the way. After clearing stuff, just had to prepare for any ambushes outside houses. Take that escort mission! >:c

So, the old Soviet Radar will not make a return right for Campaign and Challenges right?

So Solais decided to spam Terror Drones. Me, I used a similar tactic with much more variant
UNLEASH THE HOUNDS!!!!
With some mix of Terror Drones, dogs can also provide better LoS (iirc) and is also cost efficient. Both Adepts and Viruses were eaten alive.

You can also go this way
and completely avoid any adepts on your way before the soviet base.

Yeah, what he said. Going the Adept way will get your army chewed up in a heartbeat.

I've retried Firewalking, (seems to start with much more money, 70000)spamming sentry guns and tesla coils around the base, moving catastrophes to the northwest to prepare for the assault on Allied base. The intensity of the attacks were smaller than 3.3.0, and the Allied and Epsilon actually strikes each others when they meet.
Suffice to say, the mission is much more manageable, and Allied had a Tech Spy Satellite (maybe i missed this before) that I captured as soon as I mopped their base starting with the barracks, then the airfield. After that, I spammed nukes on the Epsilon base and actually oneshotted the CY with a nuke (lol). After that I just hit the barracks and WF with my superweapon.
The AI got mad and kept spamming infantries (somehow they infiltrated a barracks, but it wasn't mine) so progress was slow since they still harass me now and then. The main base is secure with defense spam.
In the end I got Epsilon base dead in the water and proceeded to capture the amplifier without even using an Iron Curtain :v
On a side note, you don't seem to get Russian reinforcements anymore. Eh, big deal.

So Firewalking was actually patched? Have to try it now.
EDIT: I did it! I beat Firewalking!
It was definitely made easier, as the two armies fight now and never attack at the same time. But it is still a crazy ass mission! Using nukes and catastrophes is important (with desos inside), and capturing the US base to stop their attacks and have money. The machine shop is also important. However, once the epsilon base is attacked (and yes, your Nuke can take out the conyard), they go BERSERK, with constant infantry spam. I first tried going through their base with my catas, some filled with engineers, almost made it, but some adepts from the intact side of the base caught them. At the end, I had half a base, constant attacks, but managed to build like 5 burritos full with engis. Quickly crashed through the enemy lines, using whatever units I had left as cannonfodder to slow the enemy down, slipped in with the burritos, unload the army of engineers, maybe one can make it. It could.
With this, I beat all available Act2 mission so far (unlike Act1)!

Thanks to Solais for the warning, I beat hysteria on first try. That brute spam was so annoying.
Stormbringer seems to be bugged. After you get to the new base part some times I've seen enemy subs shooting each others. Or is this intended?

Yeah, we do need them. The Soviets don't had a radar giving building on Act I at all, we do need this building.
Also Dance of Blood is kinda hard to manage for me.

I have an idea about a new challenge map similar to Awake and Alive mission, when we try to escape from zombie apocalypse horde of MC'ed units, but longer than actual Awake and Alive.
Is that possible?

Just spam Elites and Masterminds on the refinery on right + left + north side, and Archers and Gehennas on the bottom. You can stop the advance by keeping the enemies fighting each others in your doorsteps
