Considering that one of the Act 1 missions had been patched in 3.3 to remove trainable Saboteurs, it seems to be completely intentional.

I remember Speeder saying somewhere before the release of 3.3 that spies were going to be removed as trainable units in the campaign.

There's quite a lot of undefended Refineries in the missions, so combining this fact with the ability to train infiltrators in missions gives the player quite a huge advantage. That's why they only come in reinforcements now, so that you make a choice of what and how to infiltrate enemy objects.

Did anyone notice that you can't train Spies/Saboteurs/Infiltrators in any of the campaigns? Instead you only get a few depends on which mission, is there a reason for that?
In Epsilon Campaign or if you got a Drakuv, you can get one from the enemy whom always sends to cause trouble

I still wanted to ask about the Soviet's not having a Radar giving building before the introduction of their Airfield, since some maps make it hard.
It would be better if we can use the old radar disc from the vanilla.

Allied Mission 15, I cleared the entire map on mental, destroyed all trees and the mission still wont end. Idk how to win this, probably a bug?

What did you kill the trucks with?
rocketeers, it is fine now I just re-beat it. Probably glitched.
Now I am having trouble with mission 17 Allied. Apparently you have to search for more anti air units to kill that aren't shown on the original 5 visions at the beginning. Why not just show them before the convoy comes. Now I have to restart multiple times to find them and remember them.

I have a question regarding the plot: if MIDAS bombs were destroyed, then why Russians couldn't just make new ones? Two years have passed since Dragonstorm, so they should be able to make new bombs or am I wrong?

The Allies didn't just destroy the bombs. They destroyed the very mining facilities used for making them while they were infiltrating them fo informations about the MIDAS' location. And you can bet Yuri made sabotaging these facilities so they remain destroyed a top priority.

What the above post said; the Allies eradicated the mining facility at Sakhalin Island, which completely disrupted MIDAS production. We can only assume that it took them a great period of time to even acquire the few they had in the campaign, especially considering there was about a 30 year gap between the end of the first war and the start of the second one. With that in mind, there's no way they had the time to produce more.

I have a feeling that we'll learn at the end of the campaign what's with the MIDAS, considering Death's Hand.

Anyone else noticed that unit? looks like a space brute to me.
Let there be light!

That is indeed what it is- to my knowledge, if I remember right, Speeder said that it seemed absurd that there was so minimal infantry equipped for lunar combat, so when we do Earthrise both the Soviets and the Epsilon will have a good portion of their army fitted for combat on the moon.

P.S.: Why in the world is a Tesla Trooper(Infiltrator?) doing in the picture?

Why do I have the feeling that Yuri's gonna have 7-10 cloning vats on the moon this time round?
P.S.: Why in the world is a Tesla Trooper(Infiltrator?) doing in the picture?
Because that's a really safe bet. As for thhe Tesla Trooper, well the only possible explication is that Rssians will have Tesla Troopers for the mission.

It would actually make quite a bit of sense to have Tesla Troopers on the mission; it's on the moon, meaning no conscripts or flak troopers. Cosmonauts can handle infantry fine, but the Soviets in the original mission didn't really have an anti-tank infantry to deal with tanks. It resulted in the player having to use tank spam for armor concentrations. Tesla Troopers are pretty good as anti-tank weapons; tesla gun does good damage, can't be run over, and can power Tesla Coils (Somewhat situational, I will admit, but being able to charge Tesla Coils so they EMP enemies is pretty nice IMO). Plus, it would actually make some sense that they can be retrofitted for the moon; those suits of theirs could probably be modified to be sealed and pressurized for use on the moon (For reference, in the original game, Desolators were trainable on the moon mission, and I don't think their suits are nearly as airtight as the Tesla Trooper's, going by concept art and images).

But it never happened. Cosmonauts in vanilla were so broken that they could shred anything, be it tank, building or infantry.Desolators were totally useless.
