I don't know if it's intentional or not but where's the gate that leads to the swimming dogs in The Mermaid? Am I missing something?
Its not there on Easy difficulty.

Did anyone notice that you can't train Spies/Saboteurs/Infiltrators in any of the campaigns? Instead you only get a few depends on which mission, is there a reason for that?
Intentional, it would be too easy.
I don't think so given that the AI builds a lot of anti spy units and... they also do the same thing is pretty unfair.
Anyways a friend of mine is complaining that the AI keeps building structures/defenses at the same place despite that there is a distance to a nearby structure. For example in Idle Gossip, he can't make a good push without a sudden defense or a Grand Cannon popping out of nowhere.

That's how it always worked in campaigns of RA2/YR/MO. There's no other way.
Really now? I know they do in Liberty at some point, but I think if the defenses and stuff are already way too impressive that a slow push is needed, they won't rebuild it

Or dual launch superweapons/support powers/jet strike (e.g Great Tempest and Harbinger/Lightning Storm and a quick airstrike to finish the job).
Killing an AI base ConYard is easy if you just use the right tools. Heck, sixteen Barracudas usually do the job!
Now, if you want to blow up a ConYard belonging to a player, that's when it gets tricky(er).
