Anyway, let's drop this argument before it attains larger proportions.

Let's talk about a possible replacement for the Tech Secret Lab(If any).

Rofl
The joke's on you,JackoNoob.
Do you really think Riot Troopers are any good against Adepts or Elites?Or for that matter,Abrams Tanks? An Adept or Elite spam will have you pissing your pants and scratching your head bald.

Thors are brutal enough, but please-Siegfried?!His artillery type is too easy to avoid.Snipers I'll admit I forgot to mention, but once their Epsilon counterparts come in,well.....it's GG.

Blizzards are meh,but you seem to have forgotten Norio.

I normally use a few Robot Tanks coupled with a bunch of Cryocopters to deal with anything that can mind control-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

You're a hilarious man you should start streaming lol
Are you sure you've played USA regarding the Riot Trooper's statement?
Just two-three flashbangs and a fairly well sized chunk of adepts and elites suddenly vanishes, doesn't matter if an adept actually manages to MC one of them considering they are quite tanky and can shrug off their own weapons fairly easily as such.

I also can't help but laugh out loud at the statement that Siegfried's shot is easy to avoid, which in an actual combat scenario it is not.

Thanks but no thanks-streaming on YT?!I'll be half dead.
The US of A is my least favourite faction in the game and though, whenever I play Allies,I usually play as EA and sometimes as PF,Siegfried is my least favourite hero-I've never trained him until now(Except for the first few times I played as EA,which frustrated me to no end).

As for Riot Troopers...I never used them for fighting Psychics-I always wound up using a Robot Tank-Cryochopper combo for that purpose.

Drezlanor, you make me greatly dumbfounded. I could continue that discussion but let's not.

Moving on...

I've never really been a fan of early game monster tanks, thanks to tech-secrete-labs, raining on your parade. Their RNG (Random number generation) factor doesn't help with balance either.

It's, also, just OP for certain things to be in the hands of certain factions - Take Epsilon with battle torts, for instance.

I know that sort of chaos can be fun but stuff like that should be reserved for game-modes like unholy alliance, imo.

Question: Is it possible for 2 tech-secret-labs giving you the same monster tank?

Suggestion: Maybe make it so the infantry of your allies cannot enter your open-topped transports? This will prevent the infamous/glorious volkov+centurion and psychics+battle-tort combo.

Infinitive absence.

Let's let bygones be bygones,okay,BlackAbsence?

BTW,I've had a similar grouse against Tech Secret Labs-T3 vehicles way too early in the game is definitely not my cup of coffee. They make the balancing feel broken,TBH.

I had a solution in mind earlier-scrapping the Tech Secret Lab and replacing it with a Tech Structure for each faction, giving access to a couple of T4 units.I even have have some rough ideas for the units.

Secret labs are fine lol.

T3 monster tanks are quite expensive and early on you don't have a whole lot of cash to spend (unless you dont play 10k, in which case lol).

9/10 times they're also on a position that can easily be destroyed (on actual decent maps that is).

2 labs can give you the same tech.

I have no issues with you liking Secret Labs-but I'll reiterate my point-I'm simply not a fan of T3 stuff being available too early.I would rather slog to get them rather than just capture a SL.I infact have a tendency to destroy SLs when I come across them-they're that hateful.

I don't like them, I just think they're not that big of an issue than you seem to make them out to be. If you want to slog for your T3 then simply don't capture one. Besides their use too early is next to none anyways due to not being able to afford many T3 tanks early on due to their cost and by the time you can spam them, you're on T3 anyways in this current meta.

Since elite status isn’t very impactful in MO3.3.x, would it be a good idea if all enemy stuff(infantries, units, defenses) permanently start as veteran on normal difficulty and elite on hard difficulty in challenges universally via dummy structures placed out of the map?

I'm fairly sure the Devourer support power used to be able to heal Foehn infantry on its own, without the need of devoured enemy infantry. And I agree, Foehn infantry healing is situational. Still better than the Grinder, or having to use your secondary SW to do it...

SODAR Array being tanky? I'm down for that.

And yeah. I liked Devourer when it was able to heal Foehn Infantry on its' own. Sure I could just train Engi, kill it with huntress to heal my stuff, but I may risk killing more of my own stuff by AoE, and it's a bit too gimmicky

Huntress changes?:

- Instead of attacking directly, they spawn a nano-bot-swarm unit. These nano-bot-swarms are essentially beefy attack-dogs which can be shot at - They only return to the huntress when there's nothing left for them to attack.

- They now detect spies and will unleash their nano-bot-swarms after them. Earlier-game spy detection is something Foehn should have, right?

- They now summon a healing field around them via a nano-charge-like support-power because the all too situational nano-cloud-healing is removed. Engi-sacrificing just doesn't seem like the Foehn thing to do either. Within the healing field, infantry get a 50% fire-power bebuff, so it can't be effectively used in combat.

Side suggestion: The nano hive. The nano have is like the huntress but as a stationary defence that can spawn 3 nano-bot-swarms at a time. This requires no power, can attack spies, and is applicable with the healing field support-power.

I don't even know if infantry can work as aircraft carrier. Also.... don't we have Grids for spy prevention?

Huntress was designed to become a combat medic. You are supposed to maintain the HP while pushing through enemy soldiers. Ultimately you can sacrifice a low HP unit to heal everyone else.

And first person to post a response in style of "Muh foehn doctrine of limited numbers so doing that doesnt fit" gets his post booted into corner of shame.

Regarding spy hunt, Clairvoyant/Duplicant already get that.

Sodar is also getting some benefits. Its basicly a mobile Sensor tower that costs no power but doesnt debuffs.
