It's not, because you're supposed to lose by design. I guess the mapper didn't account for this scenario. :p

Sounds like a bug that could be kept. Both China and Epsilon become paralyzed by fear after you survive that assault.

heh, i managed to survive that in my first playthrough of that mission in 3.3.3. Not the elite army from behind, they obliterated the base, however, for some reason they only hunted my buildings and did not chase the sizeable number of units i had so the massive heroic army only went after my buildings. I do notice 1 key difference between 3.3.3 and the video just shown. In 3.3.3 all idle chinese units went for the epsilon base rather than yours. All chinese units attacked the epsilon base and obliterated it but with massive casualties. Unlike the elite army they do go after your units aswell but by using high ground i managed to survive the significantly thinned forces. All chinese production ceased after that but i managed to beat the mission by capturing random idle engineers with drakuvs. Capturing any buildings after all my buildings were already destroyed did not trigger the elite army to attack these buildings and so i won.

 

Still a bullshit trap though.

Pretty sure that's due to the AI being able to find only a single target that appeared (and I'm assuming a ghost miner is at fault here). Works the same way for most of the superweapons, and AI can't really care if friendlies are in the area or not.


Don't mind me, I'm just pretty broke nowadays...

My sickles and desolators are not shooting vehicles. Its been a while, but is this a bug, or is this a change?

Which vehicles? You can't shoot robots with desolators, only tanks with pilots in it. Gharial is one exception as it's immune to most hazards

O wow. Yeah, it was the stinger. Yeah thanks. Never knew. Also can i just say, getting 10-15 sickles and just riding into a base an deleting all infantry is just great.

Want to add some info about Colossus' self-destruction bug. Self-destruction happens when you deploy it, while it moving to attack something. Also, as already mentioned, self-destruction occurs when it moves in the irregular terrain. In this case, it does not matter whether it attacks or not. Irritator uses the same mechanics, but everything is fine with them. Maybe because it deals no damage. https://www.youtube....h?v=7wP3EfobGRw

 
Morales in Thread of Dread shoots at normal speed, even if the indicator shows that the shot is ready.
 
And I don't know, maybe it's intentional, but Battle Tortoise, Stalin's Fist, Centurion, M.A.D.M.A.N., Mastodon and Stone Golem still have this annoying slowdown, when ordered to attack.

I'm not certain if its a bug- when you utilize the Chrono Prison stolen unit, do not slurp up a deployed colossus. I found out that you won't be able to "deploy" it back out of the prison, which renders the stolen unit unusable, and requires a new one built.

Tbh, it really feels that Colossus should've just deployed into structure like Nod's Tick Tank in TS. Their current system seems to just break left and right

That could work; Red Resurrection's most recent update had the Terrahertz tank for the UK deploy into a structure that acts like the Psychic Radar, letting the player know where enemy units are going to attack.

Found a bug when playing as Russia, when you have the Stalin's Fist deployed and constructed an Industrial Plant. Using the Gear Change will have EVA announce that the Stalin's Fist is under attack, even though there is no damage shown and no enemy units around.

Thats just how Gear Change works, it applies an EMP weapon to all your Factories and Stalin's Fists.

Everyone seems to be arguing over how Yunru came into such a position of power,

yet nobody is willing to explain how Rahn's weapon is able to teleport a pair of shorts.
