How did you get to play the Germans?
You can play them in skermish demo. Just select the swap option on the german dificluty.
Btw, I baught it yesterday and did multi-player all last night... its awsome. And it doesn't mismatch
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

LOL, this is an outrageous thread. I remember seeing this years ago. I was looking for answer to somthing else though. I've never had problems with 2players vs 6 hard bots. Only thing I've had trouble with is trying to edit game so bots gain units twices as fast. Always get mismatch when we try that though. Wish I could have helped you people out but I don't know anyone personally that has ever had this problem.

We had a 2 vs 2 game 2 tanks(we) vs 2 AI robots with our new rigs.
We got the same hardware with my friend.
Specs Athlon 3800 X2, 2gigs ddr, same board(asrock dual-sata2) and 7900gx2.
We experienced the ultimate feeling.
Stuttering was being eliminated in almost 70% of the game.
I'm beggining to believe that stuttering gameplay has something to do with hardware(along with bad ea programming no doubt about that).

Ion, not yet, but the plasma weapons are going great. I've not got any new pics yet, but it will only be a couple days more.pend, hows all the ion stuff coming along, can you post some pics of that plasma battery, the gray ones that arent in game yet

After I finish retouching Laser general I'll be moving over to nuke china to add a couple units for largly asthetic reasons. I might prance back around to AirF general, depending on the availablility of some new models. I'll be pouring alot of time into the AI for a week or two, and then I'll be releasing a public version once USA and China are both polished off. Then I start GLA.

I have tons of tanks rushing to them and they have no chance yet they launch multiple tomahawk storms and destroy all my building and i loose...
Oh and by the way...did u ready my previous messages about hardware pend?

Anyway...
How much more have you added to laser since 2.07?
I just had a hilarious idea.
Why not for the hero units you change the names to people
Like Robot USA's hero would no longer be Col. Burton but Pendaelose
ANd so on and so forth!
I just played a game vs. Metaspoon.
It crashed right after I defeated him.
I was Infantry he was nuke. no AI.
It was one of those serious error crashes...

regarding the mis matches and stufff.
me and drake have played multiply games.. and it mismathces way into that game. it got nothing to do with the AI... because like pend said in the origional ZH there were mismatches its because EA are lasy fuckers and i think it has something to do with everyones connection.ME and drake had a game going for like almost 1:30 hours and it mismatched

It was in a multiplayer game with phoenix, by the way, the Plasma Defence is selcted! it's invisible, but while building you saw it

In the following you might see things already said- I can't go through all the pages of this topic to see what's been said already, so bear with me.

- 155mm Howitzer artillery of USA needs to have its firing sequence adjusted. It looks as if the shot comes out of the front and not out of the barrel.
- F14 Tomcat does the wing fold/unfold animation twice during take off.
- Black-Out EMP Missile does not display a timer unlike the rest of the abilities and SWs in the bar to the right.
- Shield Generator and possibly other vehicles of the same design 'slide' indefinitely on the ground when hit by a blast and not destroyed, when they are deployed.
- The player can still sell their Supply Dropzones as the US.
- Black-Out EMP Missiles have an icon that says you can upgrade the building with mines, which doesn't work.
- HK-89 Tank Hunter Mech shows a weird firing pattern. It looks as if some of the shots are fired in the air and at the ground.
- Mithrall Anti-Air system takes too long to dissappear after being destroyed.
- ATGM Operator has way too large missiles for the weapon he carries.
- Mine Layer MLRS also has weirdly large missiles.
- Tank General's MiGs portray the Black Napalm upgrade but their missiles are not incendiary.
- Flame Turret on "Firewall" mode sometimes doesn't fire and you have to force-attack. Haven't found what does this.
- Apaches have a strange black straight line like a shadow coming out of the tail and going into the ground beneath. Shadow problems possibly, had seen that in another mod.
- "Flight Of The Dragon" air planes look like Stealth Fighters when shot down/destroyed and also leave Stealth Fighter chasis on the ground. It is quite possible all aircraft of that type leave Stealth chasis behind when destroyed but I am not sure.
- The Spy Drones are still there as a General's Ability for the US although there are Radar Trucks now. Wasn't the latter supposed to replace them?
- Maybe this was intentional but most US Stealth Fighters and Auroras have been reverted to their old versions- in Contra each General's Aurora and Stealth had different ammunition., for instance Lazer's Aurora had this small particle explosion instead of the Fuel-Air Bomb. Now they all have the same and it took away from the general feeling.
- Avengers and Mythrall(and perhaps other PDL systems) have the nasty habbit of shooting at falling debris of tanks and aircraft and even at bouncing parts of destroyed vehicles. That keeps them occupied and they don't fire at incoming missiles and 'living' units.
Time for some early observations too :
- There are some tooltip text errors.
- Intro text where you are informed of what your selected army is like before the game starts also contains various typos for 2-3 Generals.
- Some quotes need to be changed. I usually don't mind units sharing the same voice but an Apache saying "Commanche here" is just ridiculous! There are more examples of such importance. Even the Hellchild says "Commanche reporting"..
- Most unit, defense foundation and building upgrades for all armies show the wrong icons in their production qeues and display the wrong messages. An example.. Commanche's Anti-Tank missiles display an Overlord Gattling Tower icon, and the Overlord's voice-over announces that "The Gattling Cannon Is Installed" once it is finished. You also get the message that "Gattling Cannon Upgrade Is Complete". This is true for almost ALL units and buildings upgrades. You do not even know what upgrade you have selected or has been completed, like that.
- There are still various "MISSING:OBJECT" problems for some unit descriptions. I have installed Remix 3 Alpha over a fresh ZH installation and have double-checked everything so it's not me.
- If I remember correctly, only Infantry has as many Sat Hack 3 as they have Net Centers but it is still uncalled for and unbalanced. And they still come from the enemy's HQ(from inside their base).
- Either cap net centers at a certain number or cap net center scans at a certain number. They should have to use their radar vans and not be able to almost permanently view the whole map.
- Admittedly I haven't spent much time fooling around with it, but Tank's Heavy Command Tank or however you call that is another ability spammer and it can be spammed itself.. A bit over the top with limitless net centers? Everything calls abilities in..
- Advanced dozers repair way too fast.
- Flame General suffers from too much collateral damage to be enjoyable as an army.
- Will you add the flame artillery unit from Contra 5 for flame? I think they too need such a vehicle, most of the other armies have one.
Now... Regarding the A.I... Good job, although I'll still pick Project Raptor's extremely aggressive A.I. over this one for a simple reason. PR's A.I. didn't expand their base so much but they had defenses and had far better organized attacks. After 4-5 loooooooooooooong games which ended in dozer hunts I decided the A.I. needs a serious boost in its aggressiveness and defense building. Sure, your A.I. builds everywhere but that only makes the game longer and is useless in small maps. No defenses? No attacking from 3 sides at once? Both features where included in PR's A.I.
Just offering some constructive criticism because this A.I. surely isn't Insane yet..
BUT! Congratulations, it uses its abilities and SW's in the best ways possible every time.. And surely, there is no chance I'd beat 4 Insane A.I. on my own unlike all other mods. So, good job really.
Although there are still issues with the abilities coming from random map points sometimes, even from the player's own base. Can this be fixed?
Ok this is all for now. I've tried out all armies 1 on 1 against the A.I. in various maps, and that's all I could do this weekend. As I said during the week I'll PvP a lot and let you know what I find.
IF some items on these lists are because of my own misperceptions feel free to point it out. Playing non-stop lengthy matches can make your mind numb..

and the dropzones still can be sold and so can soem other buildings and there ment to be like that. The only reason teh sell feature was taken out si to make room in the command bar to add more opsions/units and building space.
Atlest i think thats what pend said the reason was.
Yer idk why mine and your games are slow drake i never have that problem with my friend stinger in the US only the odd lag spikes that i sure everyone gets every so often. But it was still playable.... and i was still going to pawn your ass if the game did not die :(
