Ah cyber...
It's funny.
In contra he feels... crippled and slow.
But in remix he's strong (as he should be)
and everyone goes "too strong".
Although I'll agree with Phoenix the Bomblet shouldn't be deploy
when the missles are shot down.
But (as I belive you've said in the past) Cyber is the only finished one.
Maybe since that time one or two more generals has been finished
but still they other generals WILL be stronger.
So just wait.

P.S. I love those new laser units but the libra is kinda really strong too...
Man I'm a hypocrite.

i don't think the lebra is too strong if thats what your getitng at has a pretty long refire time imo. And i don't care for the cyber general being strong he is fine as he is i only think that 1 minor change to that general power talked about should be done.

i don't think the lebra is too strong if thats what your getitng at has a pretty long refire time imo. And i don't care for the cyber general being strong he is fine as he is i only think that 1 minor change to that general power talked about should be done.

Well If you build like three libras then one fires, stops, next fires, stops, third fires, stops, and ones ready to fire again.
It probably should be moved to the heavy war factory.

Yes but your talking about a group if u compaire the 1 unit agains another teams counterpart and he is relatively balanced.

Personly i love the penetrator support tanks there range is sweet and i love them as fire support. U could say the same about the penatrator, there really powerful have nice range aswell... but they have a long reload time and light armor. But in saying that if u put a groupd of them together and then there evil.

i said it before i'll say it again all units on ther eown is fine put them in a group of the same units and then they seem 10x more evil.. so of course 3 lebras would seem uber when compaired too 1.

I'm going to mention this here, in the appropriate place... I think that Nuke needs some sort of late-game direct fire assault unit.

Infa and Nuke arn't getting full re-works... its more like touchups... and sense I was sick of messing with the IonCannon today, I started working on china a bit.

Changes SO FAR:

All generals:
Escalation Buttons now acuratly reflect the required buildings FOR THAT general.

Infa China:
Airfield reduced to standard 4 plane field.
Reinforcment pad moved to advanced dozer
Speaker Tower restored. The Dozer was out of room until the drop pad was moved.
Neutron Fighter now has unique model and name. It is also faster.
Several label fixes.

Nuke China:
Airfield upgraded to extended 6 plane airfield.
Iron Dragon prerequisits dropped to Propaganda center only.
SU-47 Interceptor replaces the MIG-31. It has more killing power. AA only.
SU-47B "Black Squadron" Fighter is added as a mid game powerful multi-role fighter.
"Black Squadron Training" upgrade added as a Prerequisit to the SU-47B Upgrade requires Tech2

Laser General:
Particle Cannon fire duration raised 50%
Particle Cannon moved to Tech2
Ion Cannon has started early stages of production.


These are things I will forget about in the morning, so you WIP testers will have to check them next upload... its 5AM here, but I got lots of modding done :shiftee: :p :p now I need to hurry and get my 4 hours sleep.

I've now played several games with olli, and always before the end of game we got a msimatch, on different maps and Generals, always against hard cyber


my friends and I can run about 50% on mismatches. 2 of my friends who have a good connection to each other almost never mismatch.

Personaly, I blame the engine.

Its hard to pinpoint a mismatch in the late game.... was it because you had so mukn many units? or is there a single script causing the Mismatch? its almost imposible to tell. But I do know this. The Original, un-modded ZH had mismatch errors even in pure PvP. That should tell you something about the bug.

Yes... the MIRV and Artty mobs were over the top :lol:

As for 2.08... It will be out before the public release... I'm cramming to get the public release this month. The 2.08 will be released with the FINISHED Laser General and the Money trransfer units. Aswell as the rebalance work on Infa and Nuke.

Once 2.08 is done I'll be pausing all unit/power modding and work on AI only until the public release. then I'll start GLA and visit AirF general with the new Helo pad and Orca units.

thats not overkill.... i had 36 heavy nuke cannons and 16 beatas before witch i would thinks can pawn aslong as they can get withing range of the enermy base lo

O pendthe ermergancy repair for the laser generl has not sidebar shortcut witch idk is ment or not but its anoying if u need it in a hurry.

And the 30mm gun battery has a small radar on it so could it have minimal stealth detection? l

IMO, more than 2 is overkill, regardless of the weapon. 1 used correctly is more powerful than 10 spammed.

its a catch22... there are only 11 quick launch buttons... and 12 powers. This will be adressed for all generals in the same situation. I'm trying to rerad the menu code to figure out how the buttons are placed... if I can I will up the count to 15... this will open lots of windows for other generals and aditional powers. but I'm not sure how to do it yet... or even if I can.

i think i found a bug with the libra
when u tell it to attack a UNIT, such as a tank, it will drive right up to it, turn around and try to fire, of course itt just gets shot and killes. if oyu leave it where it is, its fine, but when u tell it to, it will go right up to it, and then realise it needs range. even when you keep clicking on it to attack the tank
