i got an idea for fake buildings cose the fake buildings aren't used so much in Gla tactics why not make them garisonable that way you can have some cool suprises for someone online and they become usefull for defence in base and in outposts near techbuildings (don't know is it has been rejected or already used)

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

the gla has not been modded yet and so the gla will become on par with the rest of the other teams. so they will get good defence.

Ok well anyways this been said about before but drakes been talking to me aswell so anyways.

The laser general avenger and mithral can be built at the same tech level and at same tiem if u have heavy and normal war factorys.
Now i can't remember so i just beleaving thats right as drake said. this is kinda pointless imo.

So anyways i got suggestions.
Make the mithra a tech 2 vehical simple to do and would make the avenger more imployed early on.
Or make the avenger buildable from start.

But i think the mithra should be more tactical ways to do this is make it deployable, can still attack on the move but have a slightly less attack range or less attack power.
When deploy tho it would have slightly bigger sight range and attack range this would make it more tactical and beings its a truck bed i think its suits it, avengers imo are the best aa to advance with your army as they can manover and move faster, mithras take long to turn and move because there trucks. So anyways what ya think?

i agree with pheonix on both accounts there. there is no point in the avenger being able to be built at the same time as the milithal defense truck, as the truck is superier (sp?) and the deploy, becasue the rest of them can.
any way pend....how is it all coming along? any new screenies ? or any more progress?

Yes, I have indeed been very busy.... and in the morning I will upload a WIP with the new toys.

Because the Penetrator has been moved to the particle tech tree, a new early laser artillery was needed. I've made the "Beamer" Laser Support Tank. It has superior range and damage to the standard laser tank, but is more voulnerable. Its slightly weaker than the penetrator was, and the penetrator has now been made slighty stronger because it requires the strategy center and particle weapon tech.



The Ion Cannon is in game now, though the Overload ability is not yet included. Model by Rosco.


The Laser Heavy Warfactory now has a new model and is now constructed by the Adv Dozer. The Mithral has not yet been given a deploy feature, but I did up the damage considerably to make up for its late show on the tech tree. Warfactory Model by Rosco.



The SupW Adv Powerplant is also in game now. Model by Rosco



Rosco has also given me a model for the AirF USA Helo Pad and a some extra Helos/Orcas for it, though they are not yet in game.


And theres even been some work on GLA. Creator and I had a long IM chat about various GLA unit ideas and he made this one based on that conversation. Model by Creator, Skin by Woody.

hehe ion cannon looks grea allof it does.
That artil tho for gla is cool. is it for the gla assult?

did u trake down the problem with the cyber ai in this wip? cos its very boring when u not got no one to play lol

The ion cannon looks great, and I have seen that gla deployable when the site's directory was open, it has amazing animations. And I really like the advanced power plant.

No, infact, when I upload all of this I'll be using the PREVIOUS AI. You can just pull it right out of the 2.05 version.

Not NEW AI, but rather OLD AI. If you download one of the previous versions (2.05) and use that AI it will work fine again. Until I make new AI for the other factions.
