for the tank idea, have any of you played battletanx global assult on the ps1:P ?long time ago, well heres what i think it whould look like. Its up to pend what upgrades it should have on, it let him think about it.
( cant find a screeny:( )
it should be hevily armoured from the front, with a big steal plate on the front and the main gun protruding. it is weakly armoured from the back. (like the rhino tank) or if you imagine it from the side, the treds are like big triangles and the main cannon protrudes forwards. It makes it look big :p and it has room on the top for upgrades, eg a stinger missle etc. i think it should be able to crush other tanks it looks like that

Funny enough i know that game lmao. so old and reto yet lookng back on it u think wtf did i ever play such a lame game.

from what u r saying it sounds like a WW1 tank and i dont think any WW1 tank have any SLOPED ARMOR which deflects shells
the tank ur tanking about i am guessing have alot of shell traps
in other words EASY TO KILL
the German learned this when messing with the SOVIET UNION in 1941

oh and does every side in the game have a armor upgrade?
is the crusder tank still in REMIX 3 because the 2.75 only used it for Robot general(right?)
maybe for the tank general we could have a barrel upgrade which increases tanks range and damage.

oh and the two ideas i post a while back on the littli bird and GLA APC what did u ppl think of them
here is the little bird idea:

is the LITTLE BIRD going 2 be in remix 3 because if it is i think it needs something 2 defend itself

a Rocket upgrade later

i also dont think calling in A10s is a good idea
i was thinking
a boutton 2 switch between rockets and artillary becan(artillary becans can be fired at the same range as the missile)

the APC idea is just for the GLA 2 get something like a BMP1/2 they could be the same as the Laser general APC but faster. Missile upgrade later.with missile upgrade is more powerful than Laser general APC with laser

Tank gen has auto loaders more armor upgrades and the damage upgrade still and there is meny upgrades aswell, the bigger barrel and more range/firepower is not needed.

The little bird is ment as a support helo, this si why the cyber general has both an apache and the commanchi, the ligght birds call in a10s and thats enough, if u want an attack helo use one of the others, its what there there for.

gla has not been started yet but i assure u they will have a capable troop movement unit, weather it be a apc a bus a jeep whatever pend chooses and it might not even be a relealistic unit as not all units in game have to be based around real life units.

i actuly like the mobile barracks idea its cool.

Altho i don't want a vehical that can move when building troops, i would want it to have a deply and undeploy butten and when it deplys the sides of the truck slide out wider and a small set of steps come out the back with a door there.

I've toyed alot with the thaught of a mobile barracks. In the end I decided against it, atleast for the time being. Defense is infantry general's specialty (infantry rock on defense) so I don't think a super mobile base is apropriate.

Stealth general is a much better candidate and might get more mobile buildings (has 2 already), but I'm not doing it for infantry general.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

ok...i dont need a history lesson....:/ no its nothing like to deflect shells off, just for visual apperance, just more armour, and it would suit the gla not to have a high tech battletank, something older. Pend what do you think about the tank idea?

Forget about navy its been talked about both and each times its A no, navy make too meny bugs and too much hassle, pend would onyl add a navy if he had a GOOD mapper willing to help him. and thats only an if.

i didnt try it yet

i played PR since 3.0 and its now currently 7.0 and if Brain gets his fingers out, then hopefully iy will go to 8.0 it is a good mod tbh. but the nAVY WAS KINDA SHIT, THEY SORTA WENT THROUGH LAND cause the engine wasnt made for navy. if you wanna try go for it, its quite good, but i prfere contra

yes hover crafts are fine but he was talking about hovering like in starcraft, and do u really think u could make a mobile building that hovers using the hover craft system?

Would need to be some damn powerful engin and such u have and would look weird with curton of air round it, A truck is the most likly candidate specialy for a side such as gla, also most likly as there is already trucks in the world that when stationaly can fold out to make the inside bigger. (id the name of the trailers)

But they are more likly to be obtained than a hovering building.
