well, i know how you would make it. it would look like a normal rifle., or a normal tank barrel ( you could model it how you want) when it fires, the barrle of the tank would flash blue. you wouldnt see the bullet, but a small white stream would appear s for like 2 seconds, or a clear stream like the effect surround ing the microwave tank, but made into a small stream, and it disappers after 2 seconds. If you have trouble, ask Vangurad on PR, as in PR 6, the railgun tank for SW had that effect you could ask him for the Fx. or i will if you want. and you wouldnt see the prjectile, cause its so fast, you would hear it. It had a very good sound FX, like a tunny sound, sounds like an armour piercing cannon.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

And btw does the infantry shoot out of the stryker when upgrades for troop tansport? i never really used it in that role so not sure. If they don't then the should be able to.

Yes when he gets his nuka ammo he is pretty powerful but he doe snot have meny toys if u think about it. Idk but i only saying what my friend said to me, kinda was like o.O when he said he does not like him in this and thinks he sucks.
And btw does the infantry shoot out of the stryker when upgrades for troop tansport? i never really used it in that role so not sure. If they don't then the should be able to.
Infantry can shoot out all the time from all its versions.
It sounds like everyone agrees nuke is the weakest. He'll get the SU47. I made him alot weaker because I didn't want to repeat the overkill nuke general from Contra or Remix2.75

I found the model on sliepner's stuff a few nights ago. Its nice. back swept wings. I'm debating a pure interceotir or a multi role fighter with guns and missiles.Now nuke is ok, what's that Su-47 doing, what is it like?

right now I don't think any of the USAs are weak. Lazr was the only one lacking and he's getting his extream makeover right now.
It could go to a hero unit... but on any infantry it would be so small it would be too small to notice. Its a good idea, but on a whole I think the USA factions are near the limit for what I plan to do to them.

And i don't think nuke should get an intercepter only new plane because the sky guardian is good enough, it need something better more uniqe.
1 plane wont make much difference even more so if u make it only A2A.
I agree nuke general was way over powered before and now i think the nuke general is quiet a nice side... But i kinda worred that because nuke general was overpowered once before that u tonned him down way too much...
I not saying nukes not a good side, it just seems like nuke general is the china version of the laser general. In other words it seems liek its being perposly ignored or kept to a minimal because u fear of it becoming godlike again.
I not heard anyoen say they love the nuke general, Sure some have said its nice or balanced but when peaple talk about china what do they say?
Infanty, tank or flame generals.... it seems that because of the fear of him becoming over powered that it lacking so much that noone truly likes the nuke general anymore.
i myself have to say i find the nuke general the most boring china side, its not that hes too weak nore is he too strong he is just lacking imo in some areas... maybe its just me.
I just don't want to see a china version of the laser general being ignored and left to be lame and i also don't want the same to happen to gla that 1 general is suddleny (not intensionaly) ignored some how making 1 less apperling.

As for Nuke general... new units arn't out of the question, but they need to be kept reasonable... Nuke is the only general I had to go out of my way to weaken. He really was super silly powerful. So right now I'm thinking I'll move the Iron dragon earlier into the game by only requiring the Prop center and not the Isatop Lab. Then the new jet can be a very strong multi-role fighter that requires the isatope lab.
At one point I had modeled up a mobile-deploying retaliator. That might be a good option to bring back... but what else? Nuke's early game could be boosted, but keep in mind that he still owns everything in the late game.
On a side note, I had a cool idea for Toxin General... First, all his toxin/acid/silicon weapons are made much stronger... much much stronger, and he gets a better variety of each, BUT, after his arms dealer is built, he builds a Chemical Lab. Then he chooses to SPECIALIZE in ONE chemical style. He can change his specialty at any time, but he has to re-research each time he changes. Each Specialty has its own list of units to build. It changes all his buildings and certain units acordingly. Without the Refinery, he is limited to conventional weapons and low-yeild chem weapons.

And nuke general i agree he was super silly and now he is really quiet balanced but before he gets nuke ammo he is pretty weak and lets not forget He really is the china version of the laser general.... Basicly the lest played atlest thats the opinion i get from how peaple talk about how flame and tank and infantry is just soo cool and powerful... It rare that somone talks or plays nuke general anymore so it seems liek somewhere in the making he got tonned down just too much, or just made boring.
so i would suggest move the iron dragon so only needs propganda center.
Make the new fighter a powerful Multi role fighter with a Machine gun on it aswell... code it like the sky guarding in the sence that it firses say 2 missiles at a time and when gets close to a target uses it machin gun before tunring around for the next strafe and last 2 missiles.
Should be powerful and able to target both air and ground targets, is it possable to make the missile not target infantry and only planes and tanks? so this way the mgs will won be used on infantry?
Also another idea that might be nice how about making it so it has missiles as a multi role fighter should have. (4 missiles) but give it an upgrade to become a Air suppiority fighter or bomber only. each fighter would have the upgrade on them so u can leave it as muilt role or move it to more AA or better ground.
each would have there advantages and disadvatages.
IE: if u upgrade the plane to be a bomber it would still keep its MG and be able to shoot infantry and straf tanks but it wont have missiles it will be using guided bombs so no aa capablity.
Aa version would gain an extra 2 missiles so 6 and would become extreamily deadly in the air its mg would remain but would gain a small range increase and its cover area would be greater. Lose all ground attack abiltys.
and when its first built it would have 4 missile cpable or aa and ground targets less effective vs ground and air than the onces upgraded for there assined roles but would be capable of everything, and well u can work out the abuiltys and weakness for them.
Would it be possable to make the skins slightly change when u choose what upgrade u want or if u leave as standard to help u keep trake of what aircraft is what or something changes on it?

And how about that tank that u do not knwo what to do with?
give to nuke general is an early game unit it would be build able after u get tech 1 and a propganda center, it could be a more potent vs of the nuke battlemaster. It culd also have a radiation turret put on it to help with the peski infantry (its radiation sprayer so short range keeping balance)
So a nuce well rounded tank, u could even do something like what i thought of for the plane on this tank making them specilize some how.
Maybe 1 having a barrel upgrade for more range or faster reload time or an upgrade to have second radiation sprayer but lossing some range or power on the main gun?
Sure your think of something.
And the deployable retaliator i thinks a cool idea just like the tick tank in a way, i'll keep thinking of this mayb i'll come up with something else or a way to make these better yet still keeping things balanced.
ps: the nulk battle master would not become oberleat when the new tanks avaliabe as it would be cheeper and faster to build and be slightly more faster than that of the new tank i thought of.
O and sorry if this post is a mess i tryed to keep it as clear cut as possable but i not really thinking straight right now.

Besides pend said that units woudl change depeneding on what one u choose i sure he is not going to make it so 1 of them only lets u have 2 units... that would be silly don't u think?

He'll have alot more than that when I'm done. There are a variety of units and base defenses that will be added that can change to use what ever power you are specializing in.
