Thats not what "Americans" are thinking.... thats the EXTREAM RIGHT WING talking... OMG, please, I don't mind if you share your opinion, I don't care if you share the opinion of facist rightwing fanaticism.... but please, don't speak for all of us when sharing it. The extream right wing flings loads of crap like a farm machine. THEY are the reason most of the world hates america so much...

I agree with gredinus. I think most americans are so clueless about the rest of the world it might as well be the picture gredinus posted. until you go out and spend some time abraud and see other cultures fist hand you never get to see how ignorant the folks back home really are.

The problem lies in exactly what you just said... how many have been to america? The most insulting portion of the population is also the loudest. they don't need to come to america to be offended by what some americans have to say. Ask Creator about this... he has had many very good points regarding the anti-russian sentiment of american media and false stereotyping. He and I have also had some very interesting discusions regarding the evning news here in the US. I've seen for my self first had how the medea can warp something. I was interviewed twice on the local news when I was mobilized to go to Iraq. Both times my words were taken grosely out of context. While in Iraq events I witnessed first hand were BLATANTLY manipulated and reported as half truths to the public (for sensationalism and ratings, NOT as propoganda) . The news here showed a segment on curent affairs in Moscow that left both Creator and I laughing at how stupid the reporting was... THIS leaves the country and gives ample reason for the world to hate us... our good maners and cultural tolerance at home, STAY at home... If our out spoken extream right wing and our mindless media showed ANY of america's domestic virtues then perhaps we wouldn't be hated.
