i was thinking a robot infantry unit for cyber general thats liquid metal so it can clone its self like in terminator and has a gattling gun

I never quoted you did i? no.

I said what i did because someone posted new ideas for hero vehicals again, and this is about hero infantry, i still don't aprove of hero vehicals, my opion is to make the actuly real heros more desirable and more usful.

Alright. I've been thinking and I think I've come up with some better ideas.
(Note I've decided not to make any names. Keeping it simple)

AF Gen - Airstrike Caller - A fast moving, lightly armed hero.
Weapon: 9mm Carbine
Abilities:
Stealth
Call Airstrike. reload time 2:00

AI Gen - Terminator - A medium speed, medium armed hero
Weapon: Patriot Rifle
Abilities:
Stealth
Airwave Virus. Disables all vehicles as long as Terminator is "Deploy"

SW Gen - Defender - A slow moving, Heavily armed hero
Weapon: Heavy Anti-Tank Gun
Abilities:
Stealth
Ion Targeter. Calls a Laser Strike. Reload time 2:00

LZ Gen - Laser Rifleman - A quick, medium armed hero
Weapon: Percing Rifle
Abilites:
Stealth
Laser Designator. Calls an Arty barrage of three shells. Reload time 2:00

FL Gen - Pyro - A very fast, almost unarmored hero.
(Note I was thinking kinda like "The Fury" from MGS3)
Weapon:Flamethrower
Abilites:
Airborne
Stealth

Tk Gen - Scout - a fast, Sniper hero.
(To protect tanks from rockets)
Weapon: Sniper Rifle
Abilites:
PD laser
Stealth

Inf. Gen - Squad Leader - A medium speed, heavy armored hero.
Weapon: PPSH40 (Automatic Rifle)
Abilites:
Fury 2 Aura
Propaganda Effect
(Is this possible I'll mark this as PBL in the future) Infantry can't be crushed while around him.

NK Gen - Nuke Soldier - A fast heavily armed hero.
Weapon:Nuclear Repeating Rifle
Abilites:
Nuclear Waste Charge. Waste Charge leaves a long lasting waste puddle.
Stealth
(PBL)takes one health point damage per second of inactivity.

ASLT Gen - Assualt Unit - a Medium Speed, Grenade armed hero.
Weapon: MGL (Mutiple Grenade Launcher)
Abilities:
Stealth
Radio Interfiernce: Send a team of bombers (China or USA) Of course to bomb his target Reload time: 5:00 min

TOX Gen - Chemist - A Slow, Hazmat suited Hero.
Weapon: Mauser
Abilites:
Toxic Grenades
Stealth
Builds:
Tripwires.
(A long demotrap style weapon. Emits a deadly mix of toxin's when broken .Trip wires are stealth)

STL Gen - Infiltartion unit - Very Fast Lightly armed hero
Weapon: Skorpion (Silenced)*
Abilities:
Stealth
Kill Driver (Jarmen Kel Style)
Builds:
Stealth Camera. (Non-Combat Stealth camera. shows a large area.)

DEMO Gen - Demolitions Expert - A medium speed, Heavily armed hero
(He is a Defected CIA Agent and has a very short demo charge placement time)
Weapon: RPG - 7
Abilites:
Stealth
HE Charge.

Phoenix, I understand why you are against hero vehicles.
BUT PLEASE STOP SAYING
"We already have Super units"
My hero vehicle ideas (The second time at least)
Were completely UNARMED.
(The caps are no offense to you. I just wanted to make sure everyone saw what I wanted them to see)

Laser gen has artil barrage (3 HE shells) and SW gen gets laser barrage?

is it just me or am i the only one missing the logic in this?

SW Gen has a slow hero used mainly for defensives.
Laser gen has a faster hero to attack with.
If you get SW hero to an enemy base. he can Devistate them.
Laser designator... the Arty barrage is just good for taking out those pesky defences or radar vans.
Also note that was ION not laser.

I never said i was gonna deside but this is a topic to talk about ideas and imo the sw hero should not get a lser strike thats more like a laser gen power.

SW Gen - Defender - A slow moving, Heavily armed hero
Weapon: Heavy Anti-Tank Gun
Abilities:
Stealth
IRBM Strike Becon. Calls a small mid-range IRBM to the becons site.
Reload time: 3:00
(IRBM's are pretty devistaing. hence the increased reload time)

LZ Gen - Laser Rifleman - A quick, medium armed hero
Weapon: Percing Rifle
Abilites:
Stealth
Laser Designator. Calls a Laser Strike at target area. Reload time 2:00

OK, for USA:
USAF:
Basiclly the same thing all over, the sniper rifel and the ability to call the hero squadron, but pls give the hero squadron an auto target ability! Pls
SW:
I got varios ideas for this guy! I'll say a selection! Ok, first he gets a pistol and can build a really massive base defence, sth like a rail gun that can shoot at both air( not a garante hit, but maybe) and ground and has higher damage then the sniper antitank Second idea, give him some kind of PDW and a massive stachel charge! Sth that contains all the evil stuff SW is able to get, so put emitter EMP and an explosive all together, plant it and run!
Cyber:
For this guy my only idea is that he carries a very powerfull rifle, a rocket luncher and small drones that he can spawn and these drones automaticlly search for their targets, infiltrate them shoot them down and explode! The drones should look like the mines in Unreal 2004!
Laser:
This guy is walking in an powered armour suite, has a microwave field around him, carries long range rifle for anti infatry proposes a dual laser defender weapon, so basiclly he has a weapon with the duble speed of the laser defender, and finally sth like the cyber hero, he carries small drones that he can spawn and they automaticly repair damaged vehicles around him

I like my ideas :p hahah
I think all heros shoudl be based around the orders pend said i based my ideas of of this system and i think it works quiet well.

I do really liekt eh idea of a emp field emitor buiilding that the sw gen hero should be able to build, read back to my list of my heros to see more on this :)

No there are plenty of ideas going that i actuly like but i love mine aswell :"> is what i mean.
But the post pend said about what type of hero each side should get i think ie very good and works well.

When i was thinking of my ideas all the ideas i came with seemd to suit the type o general.
But the engineer/demo hero for SW has to be done cos there are soem good things he could be given to build. 1 of witch could be my idea but there are plenty of lil structures he could get.

But i think the airforce one i suggested using your idea capt. aswell is probley the best airforce gen hero suggestion yet. IMO

Not sure if this has been suggested before but how about a scavenger character for the GLA, he starts off with basic infantry stuff (like a machine gun and a small bomb to damage buildings but weak), and by picking up salvage he upgrades with ablitys like stealth, better guns(rocket launcher/sniper etc) , more powerful bombs (toxin bomb , and eventually nuke).

how about a guy for toxin that can make a super demo trap. 1 trap. When it blows up, he is airlifted away. The bomb blows up with 2x as much anthrax and 2x as big a space as an anthrax bomb. Along wityh acid. He is very weak. no other weapons. Stealthed while moving EXECPT while making the trap. Trap takes 1 min to make.

he would never survive 60 seconds in someone's base while building that. Its hard to keep burton alive for 3 seconds while planting a small C4.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

And if it explodes in the same time as a Timed C4 of Burton, that hero will be poisonned by the Anthrax:

2x as big a space as an anthrax bomb


So he must be very fast if he don't want to go die. And he can destroy every unit in a base without need to move close to the base.
