I like Elvenlord's ideas, but Marchwardens should have long range, shoot a bit slower than Scouts (maybe like Gondor Archers?), but have high attack power (to make them elite archers).

ok, lets add that

Scouts- fast attack speed, low attack

Marchwardens-slow attack speed, high attack power, long range

Warriors-heavy assult force

(I already had everything but the long range swan :) )

Well, I think that slow speed of shooting is like Yeomen have. It's too slow for Elves. Maybe I just got you wrong, Elvenlord.

Warriors-heavy assult force

I think that Worriors need several changes:
1. They take way to much damage from pikes.
2. Their cavalry-resistance.

Maybe make them very good against pikes, other infantry, archers and heroes, but weak against cavalry? Make them trampable, but give them higher armour against slash, pierce and specialist damage types? And remove the speed reduction while using swords. They were anti-cav unit while they were Rohan "pikes", now they don't have to beat cavalry so easy.
And it's illogical that Spearman of the Heavens are trampable, while Warriors are not.

Swans got a point there, the Spearmen being trampled while the Galadhrim aren't :). Anyway, that pretty much sums them up Elvenlord.

New list

Galadhrim take less damage from all foot soldiers but more from cav, maybe more from seige too? the heavy assult blah blah

Marchwardens shoot a bit faster then yeomen, do lots of damage

Scouts are good as they are

Maybe make spearmen untrampleable, maybe unless they are outnumbered if you can do that

That's good, sounds balanced, every unit looks tiered now (Mirkwood Scouts being the weakest, then the Marchwardens, Galadhrim being the strongest). The Spearmen definately shouldn't be trampled. Just one more thing: about how many more lists are you going to make? :)

only if someone adds something :p
I don't know if I would put the march wardens above mirkwoods, the scouts are better against weak targets ane masses of stuff, while the wardens are better against stronger stuff
So they might be the same tier?
And scouts will come from the tower and the wardens from the barracks, so they will be kinda hard to tier....
:p

My ideas for the mirkwoods, marchewardens, and Galadhrim Warriors

Mirkwood- fast attack speed, low attack power (what they are now)

Marchwardens- slow attack speed, high attack power, can't get heavy, use unamored skin

Warriors- heavy assult force :p use the armor from the warrior in the barracks, then heavy armor

My ideas :p

What strategic uses would marchwardens have besides being just another cool unit? :p ;)

Well, Marchwardens would cost more so they would come in later in the game. Scouts are a good early-game, cost-effective defense/attack. And concerning tiers, I think Marchwardens would be slightly better. Just a question: will the Marchwardens have access to the Heavy Armour upgrade?

I don't think so, they are ambushy type units too, just the lorien version of scouts, but we had to make them different......
They would be used as snipers

Well, of course their gonna be used in the later game, I'm just saying that their best use is the early game :p.

Oh, :p, my bad :p. Anyway, my answer still stands, they are best in the early game.

Yes, they are, their fast attack speed OWNS the early game units

Exactly. Then Marchwardens come in later to support the Scouts, and finally, the Galadhrim **big fanfare when they enter the battlefield**.

You are fond of the word exactly, aren't you :p
The galadhrim should probably be a combo of the two, lots of power, but not as much as wardens, fast, but noe as fast as scouts. What do you think?

Interesting idea, though I don't reckon the Marchwardens should have a more powerful attack then the Galadhrim, unless you make them have acces to that Mallorn Bows upgrade that we've been talking about.

P.S. I've only been using that word for about 3 posts, so it's not exactly my favourite word :p .

If the wardens don't have a more powerful attack they will be obsolete when Galadhrim come out :p

Well, then they must have something special. I think in the storyline, the Marchwardens here are just the Galadhrim without the armour :p.
