Well would you like to come up with more sensible words? I'd rather have these "random" words (which actually come from the ME languages) than have boring generic names such as "Harad Captain" or "Rohan Axeman" or whatever they mean. Also, they will have a description in the tooltip anyway so you dont need to know what they mean.

Note - dont take these translations literally, I dont have a clue what they mean.

Oh yeah, and ravens are what they are.

why does it matter to you what words i use!?.. and when did i say i would rather have words like "Harad Captain" or "Rohan Axeman"!? lol, i said it was a good thing if anything.

I can explain.

Bourkahn - Harad captain unit

Hasharii - hero assasins of Harad

Mahud - Mumak mounted hero

Dern-deeper - beserker type unitsof Rohan, low armor but exeedingly high damage

Fastweards - elite branch of rohan archers, capable of scaling castle walls

Cano - Quenya: Leader, captain unit for Rivendell, clad in Noldor armour

Roquentar - Quenya: High Horseman, only cavalry for the elves, very powerful

Outriders - Cavalry of Dale

Ravens - Fast scout unit for the Dwarves

Feredir - Sindarin: Hunter - defenders of the Mirkwood hunting lodge, stealthy scouts

And yes the Mod is based on the book, but sticks to the design style of the Movies.

sound for that mate!.. you obviously know how to answer a question

If you can't underestand what Ravens or Outriders are, I don't give much hope for you ever understanding what the others are.

??
what the hell are you on about!? them names could mean anything in lotr.

Burk-Khazâd -> Burk(Axe) Khazad(Dwarf) so a Dwarven Axemen?
Rakhâs-udrig -> Rakhas(orcs) Udrig(Bane) so Orcs Bane?
Sigin-zigil -> zigil- spike Sigin- long so maybe Long Spikes? Some kind of Pikemen?
Tarâg-udrig -> Beards(Tarag) Beardsbane? Doesn't make sense...
Baraz-Khazâd -> Baraz(Red) Dwarves
Khazad-Uzbadu- Dwarven Lord (Uzbad Khazad Dumu means Lord of Moria eh?)
Burk-Gabil - Great (Gabil) Axemen? Or maybe
Khazâd-mahalu - Aule Dwarves (mahalu= Aule)

Am I correct? (I hope at least 1 will be correct)

Right on some, close on others.

I thought "tarag" was Dwarvish for "Troll"? Similar to the Elven "Torog"? So, I think "Troll-Bane" sounds more plausable :)

It depends on whose etymologies you're using. David Saolo uses tarag as troll (as shown on the moria dwarf spear) so it's possible there were different dialects of khuzdul.

You know in the Game, Eomer has a sword and lacks his good old helmet. Will the mod give him a spear? And will he be able to toggle Sword/spear?

I reckon that's already been thought of. ;) Though I hope he does get a spear; I really got annoyed when EALA gave him a sword. You never really see him with a sword (apart from when it's in it's scabbard) in the movies anyway.

New Eomer model does have his helmet. I haven't really thought about a spear... in the HD charge he uses his sword, and presumably fights with his sword after he chucks his spear in the Pelennor. Plus he seems to have thrown another earlier as you can see him borrowing an orc trident for a moment... thrown spear may make more sense then, like he has now.

And sigin-zigil ? :( I think tarag-udrig are some kind of elites. Maybe they replaced Khazad Guards? or maybe Khazad Guards= Dwarven Lords?

He used his shield to bash there. Is there a new ability coming? I hope Eomer will get AT LEAST 2-3 new. ;)

Will any heroes including the ones from the Elven Aliance get new powers/ will Gamling still be a mounted archer hero?

True, I forgot about some of those. I just like him with a spear rather than a sword...all the Rohan heroes in the original game had swords, so I got a bit fed up with it. :dry:

Probably not. Celeglin was trying to stay very far away from any RA work/content, so that will be unlikely. Though it seems likely that Rohan will get a horse-archer hero, besides Gamling.

Oh I wouldn't be too sure of that...
