............S**t, she does. And what aren't you too sure of: Celeglin staying away from RA content or a mounted archer hero for RA?

I think I remember that the team don't really want Erkenbrand to be a mounted hero, and rather he be Rohan's heavy infantry hero, kind of like Aragorn was.

Yep, infantry hero. But that might change, for he was riding with Gandalf and 1,000 Rohirrim in the book. So as good as an infantry hero he may get he might get a horse.

BTW, Is the other archer hero for Rohan gonna be...........Eomer

Yep, infantry hero. But that might change, for he was riding with Gandalf and 1,000 Rohirrim in the book. So as good as an infantry hero he may get he might get a horse.

Let me read you an exerpt of The Two Towers:

There suddenly upon a ridge appeared a rider, clad in white, shining in the rising sun. Over the hills the horns were sounding. Behind him, hastening down the long slopes, were a thousand men on foot; their swords were in their hands. Amid them strode a man tall and strong. His shield was red. As he same to the valleys brink he set to his lips a great black horn ad blew a ringing blast.

So, quite clearly, they were on foot. Erkenbrand is definately gonna be on foot, and he's better that way anyway. Anyway, he's from the Westmark faction, and that mainly comprises of strong infantry, so the role suits him.

BTW, Is the other archer hero for Rohan gonna be...........Eomer

Sorry, but why would it be Eomer? We were just discussing Eomer getting a spear in the last page and that got turned down in favour of a sword (most likely). Anyway, there was no mention of him ever wielding a bow in the book or the movies. Sorry if I sounded rude, but we were discussing it for nearly a page.

Actually, I could be wrong, but I think he does have a bow in one scene in ROTK.

I never remember him having one, even carrying one for that matter. Meh, I'll check the movies. *pops the DVD on and gets the popcorn ready*

Ah yeah, he does (how the hell did I forget that?!?!), but still, that's only one small scene. He doesn't really deserve a bow because he shot at a Mumakil in one scene. Gamling would most likely fit the description, seeing how he was wielding his bow most of the time (well, at Pelenor at least).

In the book, though, was it not Derufin and Duilin with their bows attempting to shoot the mumakils head? Might they be making an appearance with all the fiefdom units?

whatever Erkenbrand is, or will be :) .... I've always pictured him as an un-mounted Rohirrim, battlewise.... if he were the one to get to "control" Edoras when the rest moved out for Gondor, that could be a reason :p If he prefered infantry....

Well (expanding on Bard's last post :)) on the old RA Westmark update Erkenbrand was on foot. It's unlikely that that concept will be changed along with all of the new stuff that has been, and with all the evidence we've come up with so far it should pretty much confirm it. :p

Well, I never said he'd have a bow, I was just correcting ya

To me it seems very unlikely that Eomer will recieve a bow. I mean, he looks like the kind of warrior that likes to be in the thick of things, only reaching for his bow when it is absolutely necessary (i.e. shooting the Mumak down). I just can't see him with a bow in the game.
