Wasn't it something like 'Dwarven Stubborness"? :xd:

Something along those lines. It made the Dwarves resistant to fear. But I highly doubt that the Mod team will utilize BFME II's ideas unless they really need to.

Nah, of course not. The team wouldn't dream of using content from B4ME II. And Canterbury was simply asking the name of it, not whether they will impliment it. :xd:

Just curious, but would the dwarves be able to dig through mountains or build on them? I was just thinking of how cool that would be, but alas, it would be tricky to work it out. I was just brainstorming with ideas like making tunnels that link on side of a mountain to the other. Then again you have prctically that same consept (minus the fact you can't build on mountains) in BFME II. However it is a little cheap building a mine on one side of the map (IN THE PLAINS) and another on the opposite but still there's an invisible link between them...I wouldn't want that..

Dwarven Stubborness? Dear god in heaven is that lame. For shame just because in context that dwarves are stubborn doesnt mean that EA must make a skill out of it. Then why not give an elf hero "elven spider senses" or "weakness of men" to humans? Sorry just little things that piss me off. Hello :p

I wouldn't know about "Dwarven Stubborness". But I was thinking that the Mod team should change Gimli's slayer ability to something more powerfull called "Baruk Khazad!" or "Khazad ai menu" which sounds much better don't you think?

Dain's second Leadership ability was called "Stubborn Pride". I think Slayer sounds fine :p But if the Team want to change it, I'm all for it.

I bet Brand has some good archer abilities as well, coming close to the Elves' archer powers. In ROTWK Brand was seriously overpowered, and old Faramir was wiegh underpowered, but hopefully Brand will have more balanced powers.

All I have to say is I hope they have a unique look and powers, even though they were father and son, I think :) anyone of more Tolkien knowledge on this subject please correct me. If they are father and son are they going to be the Elladan and Elrohir of Dale? That'd be pretty cool having powers to complemet each other like "Fathers pride" that would both of them an increase of 20% attack and armor. Or maybe even an armor upgrade called "Royal armor" and possibly a black arrow type power.

I have a question. In BFME2 and ROTWK the Nazgul (flying ones that is) had uber powers. When they swooped down on an enemy catapult or Dwarven warwagon it was dstroyed instantly and turned into timbers. However that only happened when it was an enemy Nazgul, when you were in control of the nazgul it takes several passes to destroy a catapult or warwagon. Now I know you got rid of the dwarven warwagon but would the nazgul still have the power to destroy catapults in one hit if it is ai? What about if it is you in control? I always found it... ;) .....disturbingly cheap to have a nazgul flapping around till it comes to my horde of war wagons and then ...POOF.. next thing I know my level 5 wagons are nowhere to be found... Will this still be used? or are you going to get rid of the "INSTANT KILL" thing?

flying units have always had great damage towards seige in all games of the BFME series. i think and hope that RA will keep it this way. if you dont want your seige to die to them, put some archers next to them to defend them ;)

That would be abetter tactic. And will any units be able to join with siege weapons other than siege towers/ladders?

I always felt that infantry should be able to attach themselves in front of the freaking siege machine. During the evil minas trith mission, i remember advancing my tower/ orc combo to the ways when for some reason the orcs marched infront of the tower and all got trampled by the tower

I think orcs should be able to go in the siege tower before it is on a wall, like they are in the movies, and like berserkers on ladders. That looks much cooler, and is a lot more realistic

that's not what I was asking...I was wondering if your (as in your units) nazgul would be as powerful as nazgul you are fighting? You know what I mean? when you play as mordor vs. dwarves your nazgul don't kill a war wagon instantly, whereas if YOU are the dwarves then their nagul kill your war wagons instantly. I was wondering if RA would even that out so it wasn't....unfair..I have no objections to the instant kill thing, but let it be for both AI and human, please.

I believe the bfme2 brutal AI has got some increased stats, but when playing online, your nazgul should be equal in power to enemy nazgul..

hey. that's enough! why do you use my name? go and search for your own :p

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
By the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will,
Shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness,
For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger
Those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

That's what happens when you use names of characters from the book :)

I'm like 99.99999999% guaranteed that my name will never be taken :p

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!
