Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

I reckon mordor best archers should be morgul sentries, as the morgul archers are described as the elite somewhere in either the movie or the texts. also i do believe they should be weak compared to the elite archers of the good factions but also stronger then there basic archers. morgul sentries shoudl get there might fgrom a large horde size and cheap build cost and time making them powerful in numbers. also give them a low commandpoints so u are capable of making them in numbers

Heres a suggestion- Add Melkor as a Ring hero while putting Sauron as a buildable fortress hero.

Cost 30000
Health 25000
Weapon: Grond, Hammer of the Underworld
Powers:
level 1: Black Spear- Instantly kill any enemy hero
level 4: Volcanic Destruction- a river of lava bursts out from a volcano, obliterating enemy units (not heros) en masse
level 7: Summon Balrog- enough said...
Level 10: the Discord of the Ainulindale- instantly annihilate all enemy objects (units, buildings, fortresses) surrounding Melkor in a large radius

Morgoth would be to OP, so he won't be included in the mod. And why would someone like Melkor serve Mordor?

Like i said, just an idea.

How about adding Angband as a faction while incorporating the idea discussed in my first post.

Making Melkor and Sauron buildable heroes for a large expense for Angband

Why assume Mordor? How about making Angband as a faction. Make Melkor and Sauron buildable heroes for an astronomical rate like maybe 50000 for melkor and 15000 for Sauron (add a couple more powers)

Sauron is the best suiting Rng hero for mordor, as he is the ring, he needs the ring to take physical form again, so obviously hes the best choice. Melkor could be maybe a 25 point summon, maybe, but this also arises the issue of why would melkor serve mordor, this could also be seen as melkor is coming to the aid of mordor, to protect his most faithful servant, sauron. if u want melkor in the mod, u will find a way. (where there is a will, there is a way)

Wars of the East doesn't adhere to the true story (very unique mod) so why not extend that principle to that idea. Still, Melkor as a summoned hero is a great alternative but a buildable version of him as well as Sauron in a proposed Angband faction would be great. If that were to be applied then in order to avert overpowering your enemy early on- make them super expensive. Consider it well.

Oh come on, don't go adding Morgoth to this mod. It just doesn't work. Morgoth was banished into the Void, he couldn't possibly escape, and while I know that this mod isn't true to the books, there are better alternatives.

um that is silly idea really, it just sounds like you want to add melkor for the sake of adding him. yes this mod doesnt follow a true story but it is based around the east, so could you tell me how melkor fits in with the east, and if melkor managed to escape i would guess all the other valar would quickly attempt to huntr him down and also he would likely go to mordor first where his servant sauron is

Oh...your...god

I say give them a flamingo archer, dwarves mounted on pink flamingos with longbows twice as big as them firing from flamingo-back :)

Of course you could just have their entire cavalry presence coming from their Dallic allies, but that's not very realistic is it? :)
