her SW cool downs are short. the particle cannon is something like 3 mins. making the cool down even less, would just be too imbalanced. cause then you could just spam them like crazy. i have done this before, if you time it right, you can build them one after another so that when the first one is built, and the timer starts, when ut gets down to say a minute, the next one will be built. i built 5 of them and i had 1 every minute. so decreasing the time would, imo be too imba. same with the ICBM. although she is SW general, shes not IMBA general, lol, so its not nessecary for her to spam her SW. as they are already powerful.

Well, big thanks for the mod, I really enjoy it. I want to ask you to fix a thing in next version.

I talk about the invisible generals factory. It reveals itself shooting anti-toxin when toxins are near ant thats not good. It is nearly impossible to keep the factory unseen while playing versus toxin and nuclear generals, Could you please create a button "Hold fire" for it?

I also want to ask you to make "Sneak attack" invisible (for invisible general only)... It would make life much easier. Thanks.

well, seeing as these are suggestions, you should of posted it in the suggestions topic. thats what it is there for. please do not make new topics to host your ideas.

well in all fairness, the sneal attack is a whopping big hole in the ground, so it would be hard to disguise/camoflauge, but i do agree with you

wtf lower sw times on a general that is all about defence so she can build and spam sw's is silly.
Her defence is pretty strong making it hard to assult her, so lowering the times of her sw would be pure silly.
If u did make a upgrade like that then it should take 2 maybe 3 mins to research and cost like 15K.

thats why she has AA defence turrets.

her patriots can attack air, but she has a heavy SAM site, with 3 AA missiles that do heavy damage, and a light SAM site that has one missile, and does heavy damage.

i dont know if its in contra, but its in remix3

But it isn't in Contra 005. :p I'm waiting at Remix 3, what started to be an expansion of Contra, is now better then Contra (IMO). :D

i prefere remix, because of the escalation upgrade. i thought that the rank system is contra was quite restrictive.

if the AA turrets arent in contra, i think that it would be good, if a different AA defence was made,or maybe pend could send the model of the ones in remix to creator :p

i prefere remix, because of the escalation upgrade. i thought that the rank system is contra was quite restrictive.

Creator has all my models and code, I share it with him freely. We just have different ideas of what belongs... but thats a good thing, it keeps the mods seperate.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

As i said before contra and remix are not the same and can not be fairly compaired.
U can not say one is better than the other simply because they both have different play systems and both modders have there own iders as how things are ment to be.

I know, I only sayed that I (yeah, I) personally think that Remix is better then Contra (in the new Remix there will be special technology like railguns that you can aquire though General Points right :blush: ). :p

Tank china is setup that way. His tech trees are Lightning, Missiles, Command. He also has Artillery and Paradrops.

Thats a Remix feature, but I don't think Contra will ever include them.

In Remix only. Laser had something different. He also had tech trees to specialize in, but they were "One or the Other" choices at each tech level. Plasma Guns or Particle Beams at tech 2. And Satalites or Ion Cannon at Tech3.

Rainnahd, many of your suggestions are implemented already:

- aircraft tower already exist (Air Force general)
- artillery cannon base defense already exist (Tank and Infantry generals)
- artillery base (secondary SW) already exist (Nuke general)
- napalm artillery strike already exist (Flame general)
- nuke artillery strike already exist (Nuke general)
- trap soldier already exist (Miner for Infantry general)
- Jarmen Kell can plant traps and mines. Also he can do some other useful things. Build Jarmen Kells for different GLA generals and look what abilities they have.

By the way, some of your suggestions are very interesting. Maybe I'll implement some of them.

1. Aircraft tower (air force generals) ?? I mean not like that one.
The reason aircraft tower (limit by 1) needed because no plane on helicopter generals. So needed some
air attack back up.
like on generals promotion (need several time to reload). The function is :
a. Raptor Strike >> air unit killer, call a skuadron of raptor to attack air unit on specified location on the
map
b. Aurora Bombardment >> building destroyer
c. MOAB >> Mass Destruction
2. Artillery cannon base defense already exist (Tank and Infantry generals). Can U bring out the new model
3. Artillery base (secondary SW) already exist (Nuke general). Actually i prepared that one to replace
Nuclear Missile (SW)
4. Napalm artillery strike & Nuke artillery strike >> what wrong if the Artillery Generals have them all

Why I suggest Helicopter Generals ?
1. Aircraft reload on airfield, but heli can reload on the air
2. Now USA have an air rush unit [powerfull in air rush attack but weak on base defense]
3. Aircraft only use to special attack [like generals point] and only can buy at Airforce tower [limit 1 maybe]
4. There are many helicopter that USA have on realistic, but only few on the game
5. Upgraded armor make them take less damage from gattling weapons
6. Aircraft tower is not to defense purpose but to strike attack or clear some area before the heli attack

Why I suggest Artillery Generals ?
1. Artillery is the best one of China have.
2. Make them powerfull in range weapon but weak on close combat.
3. More Kind of Artillery on generals point
4. Build different & powerfull artillery unit, tripple barreled may be.
5. Replace Nuclear Missiles with Artilier Base / Artillery Center >> upgrade with bunker buster
6. Make support air units ex: Hind helicopter that replace Helix, Migs and sukhoi in aircraft
7. Make Attack artillery infantry units

Why I suggest Tunnel Generals ?
1. GLA is specialist on underground tactics
2. Make them more powerfull in GLA hole, bunker and tunnel network [powerfull inside buildings but weak at
outdoor area]
3. Make upgraded tunnel, cos tunnel is the only base defense that they have
4. All infantry/troops have all access to attack inside Buildings include GLA hole, building also have access to
tunnel. so in 1 building have slot to attack infantry and slot to recruit [need several time] infantry from the
other bulding.
5. SW unit Sandking can dig ground on this site and out at the other site. upgraded with troops bunker.
6. Militans the powerfull infantry replaces angry mob can shoot land and air and can equipped with molotov.


Before I think about that, I was thinking about :
1. Tomahawk Generals for USA [to bring back the tomahawk unit] speciallist on long range weaponry
2. Propaganda Generals for China [bring the units battle spirits and best on rush and mid controls] spesialist
on mind controls
3. Weaponry Generals for GLA [Get some access to build USA and China units] specialist on black market
trading and weaponry

But coz for some reasons finally i suggest that one [heli >> USA, Artillery >> China. Tunnel >> GLA]

This is the right place for such suggestions.


I have nothing against the ideas... infact, the Air Control Tower your talking about is pretty cool, BUT, there are already the max number of generals that the AI can support. That alone kinda makes adding more generals a mute issue. Also Creator already added 3 new generals to the game. More is excesive in my opion.

But don't get me wrong. The ideas are fine. I actualy like your tower idea. I've been looking for toys for AirF general.
