I support the Stormtrooper idea. I think it will be great to have the Stormtrooper having two functions: Rocket pack Stormtrooper and Land based Stormtrooper.
And like what the Guest has pointed out, for balance, land based stormtroopers can fire anti-tank missiles (5 second intervals perhaps) along with its normal gun fire while Rocket-pack Stormtroopers (something like a rocketeer?) can only utilise gun fire. This would give the Stormtrooper more edge and flexibility on the battlefield. And since enemies (AI) loves Gattling Tanks and Anti-air units and such (well, based on my personal experience). I think the enemy will have no trouble adapting to this change.

The ai builds a mix of units capable of AA but i would not say its a strong AA.
And stormtroopers idk if you have noticed have TONS on health, Gattlin weapens would not kill them that fast and there own MG's Can fire at ground and air and are like minigunners.

So please tell me, a group of 20 minigunners ripe things down right?
Now think of a group of 20 stormtroopers doing the same kinda damage but having a massive amount of hp compaired to other infantry units.

So is that balanced? i hardly think so, specialy if your only fighting a AI, fighting a player might not be a problem but ai would be pawned quick.

Phoenix is right. I just read about the Stormtrooper post in the news section and realised it can target aerial targets. I think that should be enough for this unit. Plus, it's got tons of health.

interesting... have you seen a mod that has it? I know the code will support 8, but I'm not sure the menu system supports it.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

check this mod http://www.bossgenerals.com/ i didnt manged to play it because i have the first decade and it dosnt work with it.. but in the pictures they show that they have 7th' rank..

I've played Boss Generals and I have TFD. I hate those people who think TFD can't do anything while the normal versions can. TFD is just the normal versions all in 1, nothing changed!

Boss gen runs a Modtoaster style thing. Just coping over the files while you need them.
Of course you just install Boss gen. Find the directory then copy all the files from there to your ZH directory.
Boss gen was the first mod I installed on TFD cause I loved it so much.

I liked it because it made heros useful. Hence the name.

i think it was my 1st or my 2nd mod but for 7th rank they didnt add anything new just make the 3 star have less use and removed lvl3 and lvl1 of a10 strike and chinas skill barrage and gla rebel ambush

so in contra nothing will be moved.
it will stay as normal but the 7th' rank will add new upgrades

5 star rank is fine i hate to have 7, and contra would be teh WORST if u had 7 ranks, imagen how long it would take to get all your buildings and units.

And my first mod was reborn v4 or crazy mod, I tryed meany mods but none can compaire to remix3. I played contra 4 for the longest time and enjoyed it alot, But no offence to contra i don't like some of the things he changed on it and as such makes it not fun for me atlest.

all the buildings and units will be available in the 5 rank.
the 7 rank will ofer more upgrades.
