Ok since of this new hex editor you said you could add a whole new Mordor Wall system. Does this mean even if they get walls will you add arrow tower expansions, postern gates, and catapults to the walls? Because that would be sick. Same if you could do it with Isengard. I liked how they had walls and all but like they should have arrow tower expansions and ballista expansions and postern gates as well. As for the Elves it would be quite hard to add an Ent to a wall! haha.

yeah, I could add a complete wall system with arrow towers, catapult expansions and such. I'm not sure if I will, but it is possible.

Well i dont know if you've heard about this but an Unofficial RotWK Patch is going to be released soon, and the people who are making this patch are asking EA to make it official. They plan to fix alot of issues, such as the problem of the Black Numenorians, Black Orcs, and Half Troll Swordsmen attack speeds. As well as balance issues. Now the reason i bring this up is...if this patch doesnt become official would you plan on using this unofficial patch for balance reasons?

I have heard about it and actually have recently asked to become involved in it to help out in maybe some of the coding problems.

As for the balance, I'd have to see everything they do. The biggest issue is that I've come so far from the RotWK base, that to use any one else's balance would break it more than fix it.

The problem with adding the balance of the 'unofficial' patch would be that it'll probably break more things than it fixes. I mean, with 3 new factions added and tons of new heroes , units and powers in the mod, the other factions will have to be re-balanced again. Which makes the whole process kinda pointless.

Oh, and as you can see I'm back from vacation.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Atleast try and fix the attack speed of the Half Trolls, Black Numenorians, and Black Orcs! I hate how all the elite new units in RotWK just sucked! Like Half Troll Swordsmen are elite, and should be able to take down units, but a fricken single horde of Gondor Swordsmen can take them down!

Yeah, those types of balance issues I will be fixing as well as any bug fixes. Each unit is going to be looked at.

I dont know if you are doing this but it would be sweet to see Arnor be put into WotR, especially the Fall of Arnor Campaign, I hate it how you have Aragorn and Boromir as heroes, and you play as Gondor Vs. Angmar. It would be really sweet to see Arnor replace Gondor in that scenario.

Yeah, I'll change that to Arnor. That is an easy decision. Since those scenarios are pretty easy to do, I'm open to any that people would like to see.

An idea I've played with that would be fun I think would be mini-wotr. Isolated areas of combat, <10 territories with loaded armies to start.

What do you mean? Like battles that occur only in the Eriador/ Arnor area, Mordor/ Gondor Area? I'm not sure I understand.

Well I dont know what to say ^_^ The whole mod is very nice overall :) I really like the castle system :) Sometimes Im having hard time placing all my buildings inside the castle because Im quite cowardish and I build my farms inside the castle :grin: But one thing that bugs me is heroes created from CaH parts, not all of them just like 2 or three of them and Im off to see the wishlist if there is anything I can do to help :)

Appologies if this was already decided upon, I'm in a rush to post this. For the unique ring hero idea, some great ideas so far but i'd love to see...

Mordor: Sauron
He should be buildable anyway without the ring but not be that powerful until he has the ring.

Isengard: Saruman of Many Colours
Saruman should gain alot of new abilities and become powerful, I see fire being his thing. Maybe a power called
Scorch the earth which sets a large area on fire. (like tainted land, only it sets the same radius alight?)

Goblins: The Balrog
A hero that can only be built with the ring in their possession

Evil Men: ??
Unsure on these, possible choices:
-Hero that spawns on a Mumakil, like the chieftain who is alot stronger
-One of the blue wizards, make him powerful like the other heroes

Gondor: King of the Dead
While he obviously does not take the ring or even have the option to use it, the King of the Dead would be a great ring hero. Fear should be a primary ability of his as well as the option to summon some dead soldiers for a short time.

Rohan: Radagast the Brown
Allow him to ride an Eagle and have diverse abilities.

Elves: Galadriel
She should be buildable anyway, but earns her uber status


Dwarves: Beorn or Grimbeorn

Whoever they are

it has (kinda). right now i think its stands that mordor gets eye as permanent hero, upgrades to sauron. isen gets saruman buffed. goblins get great goblin maybe? wtf would balrog use the ring? :p he wasnt even on the goblin side, they all ran away from him. men of the east- i forget :p

for good, they will have a choice either to take the ring to the enemy camp with frodo and some how destroy it or buff a hero.

i think thats how it currently is. dont take my word for it :p

i think ur rite 4 the most part yoda, dont think king of the dead makes much sense, aragorn wuld b better. balrog doesnt mak much sense, and hopefully the eye is permanent with an upgrade into sauron. makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO sense 2 hav sauron a permanent hero.

Balrog makes more sense than the Great Goblin. I mean, the Gobbo's WORSHIPPED the Balrog.
