NO items that are special from maps will be used for everyday skirmish things... at least not BIG things and SPECIAL things like that one. Someone spoke of Erebor gate for instance. I mean, with Erebor gate as a wall gate in every map - the Erebor gate would no longer be the EREBOR gate! You catch my drift? :)

Gosh dranit Guest! You REALLY have to read the topics before posting suggestions in them! I think probably ALL of your suggestions have already been suggested and discarded, or already in game! And for god's sake man, REGISTER!

Will the AI make bigger armies now??

Not juts 1 Battalion--->attack-->dead-->next Battalion-->atack-->dead...

until u destoy theitr fortress without having to battle units,just buildings

In Return of the King, it shows the corsair battleships dropping off Aragorn Legolas and Gimili, mabye the battleships should deploy up to one battalion. And also AI never use the transport ships, I go to forlindon and send my armies to that big island expecting an amphibious attack, and all they send every 45 minutes is either a flying unit or a catapult ship. Can that be improved?

That should definitely be improved. But until i figure out a way to let the AI make intelligent use of containers this will lie on the backshelf. Even if i find out how to do it, the first use will be for entering and leaving battle towers and tunnels. Land battles are a priority in this game right now. :shiftee:

I S.E.E your point, also I see that Eyown has the "Bane of the Witch King" Power for beta 4.5. The problem is that if it is a sword move, then it will be unuseful cause whenever the AI summons the Witch King, doesn't dismount much, so mabye the AI should be made in a way that he dismounts more often.

Anyway, I have more powers for some heroes:

Gimili
*Body Count (makes Gimili get resources for every kill (Like when he counts his kills in the films) like Eomer)

Legolas
*Body Count (same as Gimili's
*Mount

Bilbo
* Toggle (between rock and sting)
*Ringstealer (can steal the ring)
*Move unseen
*Old friend (Summons Gandalf the grey)

Drogoth
*Crawl (replacing wing blast, allows him to crawl like the summoned dragon)

Frodo
*Mithril (increases armor BIGTIME)

Khamul
*Hand of the Witch King (Gives Leadership to all Morgul related troops)
*Morgul blade
*Screech
*Dread
*The Black Easterling (provides Leadership to all evil men)

Balin
*Reclaim (allows Balin to take an Outpost/inn/dock/beacon faster (since Balin attempted to reclaim Moria))
*Truesight (Allows Balin to see the stealthed enemies (in the Hobbit Balin is the first to spot Bilbo head for the Green Dragon and the first to spot the Mirkwood Archers))
*Respect (Balin refreshes hero ability timers (In the Hobbit he defended Bilbo for his powers (the Ring)))

I like the idea of Drogoth landing...even if he's not able to attack on the ground, it would be good to be able to land him behind your walls to keep him away from archers and such...

Yeah, one second Drogoth has low health and I send him over the walls away, next second I forget that I set him to aggresive and he is advancing on archers and he bursts into flame (Literally!) :p . And there is an animation for him on the ground, like in the campain level Withered heath. :xcahik_:

Some nice ideas here, but just so you know... If we're aver gonna get Beta 4.5 out any time soon, we have to draw the line somewhere, so... No more items than those listed will be added until Beta V :xd:

I was just thinking, and I think that battering rams should go down a lot easier then they do. True, it's a solid piece of wood, but in real life once you take out the 6 man crew the ram is useless.

That's true, it's not the machine, it's the men that carry it. BUT you might say that if you don't destroy the machine, other men will pick it up to continue, like on the gates of helm's deep.

So maybe make it much weaker than it is now, but give it a good armor boost, or even regeneration powers when close to infantry. :rolleyes:
