Hey don't know if this has been mentioned , its a glitch the original game already has , its when your playing those fortress maps like isangard etc , no matter how many multiple X2 OR 3 etc pop cap you set at the begining of hte game , in game it will stop at 1000 no matter or many pop cap buildings you built it just stops there even you set the pop cap to be X 8.

So can you guys fix that ? its so annoying you get restrained like that

Suggestion posted on other forum:

I had another thought but I'm not too sure how good it is. I was playing a 2 vs 2 game the other day and my ally was concentrating on defence and I concentrated on offense. He built arrow towers and I built archers.

I'm not even sure this is possible but could it be possible to allow allies to garrison their units in your towers even mines and shafts?

(I havent read all the 40 pages so this could have been said before, sorry.)

The banner carriers annoy me. They should have the same armor upgrades as the rest of the units and the banners shouldn't be glowing. They don't do that in the movies. And rohan units need their own banners, I think they still use the dwarves.

The elves AI only use hobbits sometimes. THey just send large hordes of them and no elven soldiers at all.

MoTW should have some numenorean soldiers as elite fighters or summonable from a power.
The elves have Lost Aliance soldiers too. And Dol Amroth mini-faction with other gondorian units not from the movies. And if you need a reference, these could be quite good: http://oz.games-work...t...&orignav=16
They're in the same style as the movies, at least I think so.
They would require a lot of work, so Im not expecting to see them actually, but maybe for the final version.

In version 4.5 only the lvl. 5 hordes will have a glowing banner.

They don't do that in the movies. And rohan units need their own banners, I think they still use the dwarves.


Will be fixed in 4.5 =).

AI will be fixed too. Much harder, more balanced armies, and Sul has made a 'spam-unit' limit.

I think the red ring FX for fear instilling powers should be gone. There's usually some sort of audio cue and/or animation for the power and it's perfectly obvious when enemy troops are running away. It's just ugly and ruins the look the same way the old forged blade FX did.

If it's an FX and not a model, we might just tone it down a bit, instead of removing it completely. Like with Flanking, it helps a little bit to understand what's going on in the heat of battle. But all the unrealistic stuff should be tone down or removed. I absolutely hate the healing FX for eagles, for example, and in general it is not really an observable phenomenon when health regenerates. Here we should use either something more subtle or remove it until we find a better way to signify it's occurrance.

I hate the concept of FX all together, but I also think it's (unfortionately) needed to emphasize that something's going on at occasions. I'm all for toning that FX down though... it doesn't have to be all that bright.

Btw Sûl, the FX for Nazzies Screech is completely gone? Is that intentional? :lol: I'll put that on my list (I think it should stay just like that Fear FX ^ but I wouldn't mind if it's toned down as well...)

I'm not even sure this is possible but could it be possible to allow allies to garrison their units in your towers even mines and shafts?

That would make the game a bit too chaotic I think, and units would "bunk" themselves all over the map.

Hehe, yes. I removed it. But we had been talking about it, or not? :p

Anyway, no FX, no stopping to screech.
I think the screeching and the running away is FX enough.
Maybe we should replace the FEAR FX from Shelob/WatcherExpansion with simply a cool sound as well. :D

YES, please! :p For Sauron and Galadriel too. Maybe the nazzies dread visage FX can be toned down a bit too?

As for healing FX, I think heroes in BFME1 had one that wasn't too bad...

Well... the thing is that it's kinda lika chasing flies in a shit house :p

What I'm saying is that the game is LOADED with darn FX all over the place just to indicate that things are active... Stances, Buffs, DeBuffs, Leaderships, Fear, Healing, Banners, Dread Visage, bla bla and whatnot... And I hate them all together actually. I really like the new and improved look that you gave them all Sûl, like making the FX not float in front of units and the new FX for Large Group bonus, Draft and all that stuff... but if I could remove them all I would. By "could" I mean - if the game would function without them, and I don't think it will...

We simply HAVE to use FX in order to see if certain things are working or not... We could off course scrap them all and just KNOW that some heroes gives Leadership and stuff... but it would be a very bold move.

Removing FX that is only appearing for a short second or so is not really motivated when we still got several stackable FX anyways. Just llok at a large Moria army and all the disco stuff that is going on there - all the time... :D

I can't recall saying ok to removing the Screech FX, but I recall saying yes to removing the stopping anim ;) But then again I'm old and forgetful ;) So it's ok =) All the Nazzies should use a cool animation on Horse and Ground though, for the Screech and I know exactly what would be fitting :D

Ok, here are some more ideas for 4.5.

Make Eagles (And Fellbeasts for Isengard recruitable like builders, but limited to 5 and require command points, no longer heroes, just regular units)

Allow Drakes to be recruitable like Eagles (Limited to 7)

Gwahir
*Rider (Allows any hero to mount onto Gwahir)
*Flock (summons two eagles)
*Flock leader (gives leadership to Eagles)

Sauron
*Leadership (Gives leadership to all units, including heroes)

Dain
*Mount (Allows Dain to mount a specially made wagon)

Balin
*Truesight (According to the book, Balin was the first to see the mirkwood elves and he spotted Bilbo head for an inn)
*Respect (Refreshes ability timers for all units and heroes)
*Reclaim (Allows Balin to claim a structure faster than other units)

Brand
*Black arrow (A powerful attack, immediatly slays monsters especially Dragons)
*Prince of Dale (gives leadership to all Men of Dale units)
*Dragon Slayer (Gives leadership to all Archery units)

Azog
*Lord of Goblins (Gives a leadership to Goblins and trolls)
*Tyrant (Gives Azog a boost to armor, attack, and speed, at the cost of harming nearby allies)
*Scavenger (Allows Azog to get resourses for every attack on any structure)

Bolg
*Dwarf bane (gives a bash to any dwarven unit)
*Leap (Allows him to jump like Gimili)[Best I could come up with]
*Darkness (Makes the sky temporarily dark and gives leadership to all units)

Bilbo
*Thief (Allows him to steal resouses from structure) [Include his nasty little chuckle when he took off the ring when the power is used]
*Move unseen (Move unseen)
*Gandalf (Summons his old friend)

Gimilli
*Body count (Allows Gimili to get resorces for kills)

Legolas
*Body Count

Celeborn
*Lord of Lorien (Gives leadership to all Lorien troops)
*The Lorien guard (Summons Lorien warriors)
*Wise Counsel (Gives Heroes Leadership)

And allow the Wyrm TO ACTUALLY MOVE!!! :crazed:

And replace Drogoth's wing blast with crawl (like the summoned dragon)

I don't like the idea of replacing Drogoth's wing blast. It's an awesome attack, especially if you start over a large mass of enemy troops. Sometimes they keep walking into it, too.

Perhaps something like tainted land, but Darkness should ONLY be a SPell book Power.


I wouldn't give Bilbo a power to summon Gandalf.
Perhaps I would give him something like "Birhtday firework"

actually that dragon Firework idea might be easier than it sounds. What about taking a Drogoth's skin and just changing the color to make it look like a firework?

Why reskin Drogoth when he already has that exact power? Just use Drogoth's fire dragon power if anything.
