What would be if the heroes would know more men to one killing is you to wound? Everybody does not need him. Only for them whose armament and his tactics allows it. Think here Legolas, Gothmog, Boromir, Gandalf, Eomer, He is Gimli.

--> Maybe the suggestion is to have heroes kill more than one with a single blow.


And what would be if one or two new abilities would be received? For example Eomer: shield dash or weapon change. In the film (movie) always together back used sword, lance, bow.
Eowyn could get weapon changing abilities sword and between a lance. But Witch-King could be hit that Witch-King would destroy it. Trufa and Pippin could be transferred MoTW and then Eowyn could get like that ability, that a hobby sits down on his horse.

--> Let more heroes have weapon toggles. Eowyn should get a WK-Killer. (Trufa==Merry) Merry and Pippin should go to MotW and be able to mount Eowyn (and Gandalf).


If they would be transferred then could be, their ability like that that it is taken on Gondor and is running on one his dresses, Trufa a Witch-King would be hit. Pippin though Troll hit.

--> Merry gets an antiWK-special attack, Pippin gets a antiTroll-attack.


It would not be bad if he is Nazgull Felbeast sitting they die they could go on on foot then.

--> A dying mounted Nazgûl force-dismounts but remains alive.


If they are between you map makers you could prepare it then the film maps.
Yeah. You cannot rearrange it the bfme1 campaign bfme2? You are a new one you do not put a campaign into it?

--> The BfME1(film-)campaign should be implemented, if S.E.E. only had mappers. ^_^

:p Me neither... but the guy deserves creadit though, he's using an online translator from Hungarian to English, so he's showing effort - I like it. But I can't reply cause I can't understand it ^_^

Now this:

I'll put this here, as compared to bug reports:

Ents do super high damage. They have random attacks values (first hit knocked out half wall health, second not so much). They can individually destroy gates in about 1min or less.
Compared to Mordor catapults, Ents are uber and Mordor stinks. Mordor catapults take almost a min to destroy a segment of wall.


I didn't know they had random damage? Sûl???
On the other part... an Ent should be pretty muvh stronger than a puny catapult, don't you think? :sad2: And also, it's a matter of how MANY Catapults you use. You can't compare ONE catapukt to one ent right? =)

I never attack with les then 7-8 Catapults at the time.

Even if there is random damage, doesn't that sort of make sense for a living thing? I mean, you'd hit in certain places, with a certain speed, so it'd come out differently any time.

About the Campaign, what Nazgul wants to do is make the original BFME2 campaign compatible with the mod, but I think that many of us prefer the one in the South (I hope). To get a Southern campaign we need a prefessional maaper and coder. ^_^

A few things to look over:

1. There are some ommited hero descriptions for Isengard in beta IV.

2. Gandalf needs a new button/portrait while he's still "the grey".

3. For consistency you should consider adding "Gorgoroth" in front of all standard Orc names:

ie. Gorgoroth Orc Warriors, Gorgoroth Orc Archers, Gorgoroth Orc Pikemen.

The old world will burn in the fires of industry! The forests will fall! A new order will rise...we will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and the iron fist of the Orc! We have only to remove those who oppose us...

Orc Pikeman need some varried skin. All the other orcs do, but not Orc Pikeman.

I know, but everyone is so busy... :grin: I for one, really like the Elder/Shaman Goblin ideas. It's like in that Lotr rpg, The Third Age. I wonder what Naz thinks about them.

ya, 3rd age was pretty bad, but that's where i got the idea for them. i was thinkin that the goblin elder could carry a torch and serve as the banner carrier...without actually carrying a banner. my personal favorites are the goblin footman and the goblin assasin.

Hard to see, yet they aptly depict goblins...

I don't think 5 catpults= 1 ent. Catapults are flaming, too. Maybe I should say catapults are too weak? And ents are too strong? Way too strong?

yeah, sorry about the quality. i had to use a friend's scanner, and it was an old one. they look pretty good if you zoom in all the way, tho.

I do read everything... eventually. Just check the "Disclaimer" and you'll know why I can reply all the time though :p

- Orc Pikemen DOOO have various skins (3 I think), it's just that they dont have verious MODELS... you must separeate those two. :lol: Skins are just the surface looks... Models are the shape, including weapons, helmets and shields. In THAT sence the orc pikemen are not equally cool, yes. Maybe TDP can model new ones for us for Beta V though =)

I will also ask the modelers to do more Goblins for the same varied effect as orcs =)

Could you make it so that you have a choice of getting the "Gandalf the White" upgrade from the MT Library. It was previously suggested that Gadalf could mount an Eagle. Well in which case the player can choose between Shadowfax and Gandalf's powers rechargeing faster and the Eagle.

About Gandalf: he utilizes a portrait of Gandalf the White, also when being Gandalf the Grey.

Aye, he's white even when he's supposed to be grey.

For example Wormtongue's description simply reads "Wormtongue" when it should be "recruit the spy of Saruman" (I think that's what it was originally).

Ugluk could use a couple words rotated too as the sentence structure is a bit odd and clunky IMHO (that's picky though).

Also, Yeoman Archers need a new button and portrait and model wise should be distinct from Men of Dale. As for their "Black Arrows" why not call it "Give Them a Volley" and have a picture of an Uruk-hai with an arrow sticking out of his chest, or that Eye-less dude from Helm's Deep yelling fire?

- Uhm, yeah sorry for not posting... Cute drawings =) Not that much LotR/Tolkien though, is it? I'm not sure... Anyway, I'm gonna leave it up to the modelers to design the new Goblin units mixed with the others. I'd like to have some without helmets and stuff like that. I dont think we'll ad any new TYPES of units/hordes though, only models in that case...

The main purpose of my ideas is to make goblins VERY distinctive, especially from the other orcs. And besides....I absolutely hate the crap EA threw into their faction. Hit and run? more like hit and die. To me, the gobs need the most. The things i'd definately get rid of? spider-riders, shelob, spiderlings, and anything else spiderish.

As for tolkien-relations....their asthetic appearance may be a little..er, creative, but their function is very Tolkien. The goblins lived in caves, meaning they usually only came out at night because during the day they'd turn to stone. because they could only attack during the night, they'd have to grab everything they could. because they had to grab so much, they'd have to move fast. Since most materials they got would be from either within the caves or stolen, they'd have to make the very best out of what they had, so their armor would be forged in pieces and once worn, would probably never be taken off. Goblins lived down in the deeps, so they'd have adapted to their environment with large eyes and ears. from crawling so much they'd have a hunched appearance. Finally, the goblins would have no way nor reason to recruit the spiders of mirkwood. they'd have enough speed, and plus they probably wouldn't be able to make the journey, unless of course they tunneled.

oh..and completely random, but is there any chance all evil factions could get a different builder? two different orcs for isen and mordor, and a human slave for gobs?

It is different! Why don't you look on google for some pictures of Gandalf the Grey or failing that use the portrait/button from BFME1(I think that BFME had a "grey" version).

In regards to Ugluk: Oh!? I thought it said recruit the scout Uruk-hai leader. I'll have to check that...

I probably mentioned this but I'd really like to see Rohan's banner restored to its former glory.

For differentiation between Men of Dale and Yeoman make the Yeoman skin similar to the Peasants'.

Lastly, consider getting some voice actors to do voices for new units, upgrades etc. I'm sure if you ask an army the size of Mordor's will be willing to help as the mod is very popular.
